Dear Upendra, This is the gem from the 'Nedeyo' out of all four songs, if I remember. Young TMJ gave a wholehearted performance and Maestro's music was just second to none. Immaculate clip, thanks! As Tharu mentioned TB Illangaratne's books were great ones for any reader includinging 'Nedeyo', 'Mangala', 'Thilaka Saha Thilakaa' etc. On contrary how sad, Vijaya Nandasiri has gone down over the years from being Prince Maname to a joker in Sirasa. Dear Upendra This is an excellent clip; the best of Sinhala film. KAW was one of the few film makers who mastered the art of striking a balance between artistic values and commercial values. He was greatly assisted by authors such as TB. Forgive me if I am being a bit nostalgic; but I don’t think that we will see the likes of these giants again. Especially if we note the decline of artists like Vijaya Nandasiri as Vidhura has commented. Ldealwis

Dear Upendra, Thanks for giving us ,as Vidhura mentioned, a 'gem of a song' in Nedayo. Khemadasa's music is outstanding and TM does the finishing touches ! KAW directed a lot of TB's movies except I think "Nayana". There was another movie from KAW "Sasara" with Vijay Nandasiri, Sonia D, Swarna Kahawita Jayanthadas and Upali Attanayake. A small scene(Vijaya N/Sonia D) of it was filmed at my next-door neighbours in Kohuwela-Nugegoda, S De S Jayasinghe (Minister/MP Dehiwela) Rgds Shuaib C

Dear Vidhura, "Thilaka Saha Thilakaa" is TB and his wife Tamara's autobiography. It was a great movie not sure whether KAW directed it - maybe Amaranath J of "Maru Sira" fame. It tells about TB becoming an MP and being ousted thru an election petition then Tamara contested the seat at the re-election and entered Parliament.The actor - did a role in "Asha Desin" as Sriyani's hubby. The actress a beaut - I think her name was Vajira-never saw her after that - what a pity ! Rgds Shuaib
