I just put this on another KZbin video but it bears repeating. Thank you for this video I wish I could go back and do this all again. In hindsight, even though we were having nuclear drills in the classroom, hiding under our desks ( lol), it was a remarkably innocent time that I miss. I am happy now, as I was then, because I choose to be but everything has changed and not in the direction I would choose for my kids and grandkids. My grandsons are 6 1/2 now, just as I was when this took place. I tell them bedtime stories of the "old days" and try to pass on the values my Dad and Mom taught me. They always ask for more. There is hope. I pray a lot.

Reporters were much better with describing the scene back in the B&W days.

Absolutely amazing. Mankinds first steps into space, this and the russian enterprises into space deserve our full respect and admiration. It is only fitting that we should acknowledge mans' every achievement and encounter whilst exploring this great unknown realm, and make available the findings and experiences of these missions, and Not to hold back information which may allow the full advantage of this knowledge to be taken by human kind; of every creed and colour or nationality.

Quite difficult; impossible & dangerous to reveal much if any very confidential American Government classified info to have it shared to public for every other culture, creed; anymore than other countries desire to just share their classified info that they would prefer to keep private; lets be real,,,👀
