Wish you would have been President but glad your still working hard. think you will look into corporations and land lord leaving housing empty instead of lowering rent so that the can keep the potental rent high though they cant rent to keep the value higher than it actually is. can we ban housing as mutual funds. and increase property tax progressive for every property you have after the first and if you own more than 100 properties extreme taxes and regulations.

What in all that will shift US consumer purchases from Chinese imports to domestic products? Domestic product sales means more US taxable job revenues, US resource supply chains will do that too. But none of that discussion shows more profit in production than remaining a corporate 'smart shopper' who avoids responsibility to the USA. Take some smelling salts, if you think that Lee Iococca did us a favor in his Chrysler turnaround example. The intent was to gain an advantage and offer the best cars in the world, but Import quotas begged him to raise prices without import competition, to make the crappy K-car, and simply bank the profits. That's a miracle-worker? You can't trust business not to take a profit out of the pockets of US consumers, given the chance. You have to handicap imports to share in the true costs of entering the 'crown jewel' US market. All regulations, taxes, fees, and compliance laws are costs we feel necessary, and business should not have a choice in buying instead from tyrant regimes that don't comply with our standards. If the law doesn't work, change it. That's your GD job.

Tax The Rich
@lesleysullivan64582 ай бұрын
Some things I agree with, some things I do not. Taxes should not be higher than 10%. I have never thought it appropriate for the federal government to tax citizens more than the tithe that goes to G-d. Secondly, all loop holes should be eliminated and this includes the child tax credit. Just because someone has a kid or a family, that doesn't mean they should be given permission via the federal government to not pay their fair share. Breeding is not a valid reason to not pay taxes. Also, all wages and tips should be taxed. All income should be taxable, otherwise the system creates favoritism and that's not right or legal. The best thing to do is to have a flat tax of 10% regardless of what you make or what your job is. Equality is always better than playing favorites, and it's not the role of the federal government to pick the winners and the losers. It's kind of hypocritical for democrats to push the 'American dream' ideology but then once someone starts making a lot of money or becomes rich, then it's let's tax them because they don't deserve it. You can't have it both ways and claim to care.
