Thank you Josh. Shame on Ted. AI is only as good as the PEOPLE who create it. They are no different than any business or Citizen in the USA who are held responsible when the break a law. AI should NOT be exempt under any condition or situation. Please don't stop the pressure, Our country is on the brink of having a very bad 'day'. We Need Leadership for U.S.

12:40 im glad theyre working together, i agree with Sen. Cruz about Sec.230, but Sen. Hawley with the bill. Let them have their day in court, and dont treat them differently. AI or other technological national dominance must take a backseat to individual rights. I appreciate his mention of concern, it is worth considering. 17:36 as Sen. Hawley says, theyll win or lose based on the merits of their case, its not inherently going to bankrupt the industry unless the law inherently allows for such things to succeed.

If it is good for this country than it can stand against the scrutiny of the users legal right to safety. No government should even have to debate the issue that violates citizens right to saftey, not to mention that violates their constitutional rights as they are promised and required by law. Which should be the highest law in our country that even the president should not be able to violate 18:25
@brotherscottt1968 Жыл бұрын
Senator Hawley does anyone at all, whether common citizens or government official have the right to violate any citizen’s constitutional rights? If nobody does, then why should any group of people like corporations have the right to? The court system is what shows American’s issues from local to Supreme Court, and this system of letting money groups to violate constitutional rights, is the most unheard of way to govern a people for the people, because it not a way at all to do it, it’s corruption. 19:08

I agree...the people have rights...can you image, sex offenders making fake CP of peoples children and distributing it, or blackmailing people with it, or CGI movies or games, or teenagers harassing one another with fake pictures and if you dont do this for me Im send these images to everyone in the school or posting them on the school website...fake or not once something is out there with your face on it you cant rewind the clock or remove it. It's there forever!

Section 230 allows tech companies like google to support enable and promote the production and transmission of illicit content all without repercussions of being held accountable how can the victims of such cases find true Justice if all individuals and entities are not held accountable. Section 230 definitely needs some reform in today's technological world and they should be held accountable for the content they promote. In some countries they do just that they hold tech companies like Google accountable for illicit material they promote they will bring google into court and that's why certain apps are not available on the Play store because Google knows them particular countries are going to hold them accountable and guess what those countries have a far lesser of an issue with cp

Remember when Macintosh was the big tech monopoly and apple was just an Itty Bitty Baby Corporation? That is the way of the monopoly. It comes into being and it goes out of being. The miracle is that it tends to stick around for more than a year like most companies. If you are worried about big tech monopolies/ robber barons, you shouldn't seek to regulate them, instead you should "send a thief, to catch a thief" form your own business in competition to theirs in the hopes of striking rich and proving a better service at a better price.

Your arguments on AI are not rational, the concerns you voice are not regulated anywhere else on the internet: Marriage advice, psychological advice, etc...there are over one million websites at a minimum out there. The bill is not as clear as you state. It involves funding. Why?
