Senco PC1010N Air Compressor Modified to fit Festool systainer 4

with a small modification I fit Senco PC1010N in to Festool systainer 4

I've got the older pc1010 in a sys 5. I took the feet off and it fits on its back. A few people have done this. I'm thinking of cutting mine down so it fits the right way up like yours & it would fit a sys 4 then

+David Handley it is pretty quiet compressor to start with with systaner even better. I may do sound test one day

Why put it in a plastic case is my question.Just added weight and you need to take it out for cooling purposes if you read the manual warning on placement.

What are you doing about airflow to the compressor? This afternoon I disassembled a DeWalt d55140 and installed it in a tough system tote. I'm considering putting it into a large tough system case as long as air flow isn't an issue. Do you still use this and has your senco overheated at all?

I still use it and have not had a problem with overheating

Feel the pump head even when run with air clearance ;you see the point of not enclosing.
