I found Frank Sinatra 3 months ago--and I cannot live or go on without him. I have immersed myself into everything Frank Sinatra--he occupies every crevice in my brain, heart, and free time. The problem is that I can't find many articles on him. "Frank Sinatra Has a Cold" is the only in-depth article I have found thus far: www.esquire.com/news-politics/a638/frank-sinatra-has-a-cold-gay-talese/

Aw, no it's not, and you know it. He does a fine, inimitable job, but after listening to hundreds of versions (well, a lot) I recommend Shirley Bassey. I am not her greatest fan, but she did it at the peak of her career, 1987, voice powerful and true, it is perfection, and it is done soooo intelligently, I was amazed!! Cheers!

Watch how Frank carefully moves the mic nearer and farther away from his mouth depending on the dynamic of his output. That is a very special talent and he performs it effortlessly. That is literally why he always sounds good and his perceived volume doesn't rise and fall with his actual volume. Amazing singer.

There is no gimmickry that he adds to his singing and voice. Frank Sinatra doesn't depend on tricks and add-ons, like other singers in whatever pop genre. He doesn't even have to impose some sort of melodrama at all to his singing to try and enhance his sound.. Everything he does is his own clear and impeccable voice, tone, and sound.

Dean, Frank, Sammy and all of those great singers. My era idolized these guys. They taught us about the music, how to dress. How to be a gentleman. Made us want it all because of guys like Frank. And I did get most of it.I was a skinny, shy kid. But singers like Vic Damone who were the epitome of cool taught me not to be shy and in the background. What a school these cats ran. I still dress to the nines. I still love good music and I still go dancing with lovely ladies. And I ain't young, Barbara. "Ring a ding ding." Have a pleasant Memorial Day holiday.

He's not "singing to the guitar" - the guitarist is following HIM. That's what any good accompanist should be doing. You'll notice the guitarist is following Frank's phrasing; he's coming in a millisecond later than Frank at the end of every line. The performance is still showing off Frank's great ability to phrase uniquely, but the difficulty rests more with the accompanist than with Frank. And when he sings with an orchestra, you can be sure they're following him as well, through the conductor.

this song really fits joker 2019.. it feels that its the relationship of arthur fleck to love and acceptance but in realization it did not exist at all.. thats why instead of hurting he thought of his life as just a comedy.. thinking all the tragedies he felt and broken hearted moments are just part of an act which was funny to thik for him.. joker movie felt sad and depressing at the same time stating that reality sucks sometimes . . . .
