So at last here is the review of the Radon Jealous 10.0 HD. A great bike, at a great price. Are XC bikes of interest to you?

Absolutely. When you dont have steep terrain nearby XC light and snappy are the only way to enjoy on flat

I’m riding this one myself actually, only swapped out the tires to Conti’s and the handlebar to a Renthal riser bar. Love it, really do! Only one contra for me, the Sram DUB wears out pretty fast in wet weather .. but that’s not Radon’s fault, I’m going for a second one eventually. A Skeen is at the top of my list now.

Hey Thomas. Good to know about the DUB, I have zero experience with it as an owner. The new skeen looks like a great buy. They all seem to be getting more and more agressive. Very Radon!

I have a radon jealous 9.0 since about two years and I find it fantastic. I think the frame is the same of the 10.0. I noticed that you have a dropper post? I bought a dropper post now and wanted to install it. Do you have any idea on how to route internally the cable: I do not see how could be done completely internally as there is a sharp bend in the frame. Or should go out from the top hole and then back to side hole of the seat tube. I find it quite unpractical.

Definitely good bikes for the money, just wish the Jealous was little bit longer/slacker. The HD trim Jealous bikes seem a bit confused with that geo.

Without a doubt. Wouldn’t a longer and slacker xc bike make it less xc?

@@SenderoSeeker I guess so, not claiming to be a market expert, tho the trend is certainly going a bit more slack/long even in the XC market. Look at the new XC bike from BMC, it is very "modern" and is much longer and slacker (and even the top tube is very low) than the Jealous. But as everyone I guess should know is every bike should be chosen for a given use/terrain and individual body dimensions. What fits person A might be a horrible choice for me, etc. One thing to note is that B-D / Radon really ought to update their frame recommendation calculator, trendiness aside they are stuck on only going off inseam to size people online.

hahaha I traveled 4 thousand km in Europe and 3 thousand km in South Asia with this bike and 29 kg of equipment. This bike has lasted me well, my friends.
