Currently beech has better trails and more trail variety at the moment. Sugar is building a couple new ones so that might change. But at the moment beech is better. In my opinion you can't go wrong with either one! Sugar is closed at the moment they are opening back up soon, not sure when exactly, so that might make your decision for you! Enjoy!

Do you lower your saddle on downhill?

Absolutely! This was on my dh bike so the saddle stays where it is down low but on any other bike that thing gets dropped for sure!

I think at the moment beech has better trails but rumor has it that sugar is putting in a blue/black flow trail from the top which will probably put them at a higher ranking for me! also the lift at sugar is WAY better.
