A little hint, next time you get to 4:23, keep going that way. All I can say is you guys are worthy of going that way.

Hell yeah! Home town trail. Used to shuttle this and ride to work at the lake when I was in high school! One of the best kept secrets in the Central Sierra.

The view down to Pinecrest Lake is stunning. The trails look loose, lots of exfoliated (nice big word) granite not giving much grip. Great ride! Too bad you left your wallet at the top ;-).
@TrailPeek7 жыл бұрын
On the slabs it isn't bad, but the dirt is loose. That would suck to leave your wallet at the top, dane just left it in the car
@carstensevier87866 жыл бұрын
The granite is super grippy

How you liking the Hightower LT vs the Jeffry? Definitely on my list but reading a little about the bike being a little “dull” and not super playful.
@TrailPeek7 жыл бұрын
HTLT is incredibly playful! its a pure race bike but dont doubt that i've sent some dirt jumps on it!
@Tomzzzzzz7 жыл бұрын
Trail Peek that's great to hear! HTLT is going to be my next bike. Is he running the fork at 160? I'll be Greg Minnaar sizing my bike as I'm 6'4"

Pinecrest is a beautiful area, and for miles around. The lake itself can be hectic in the summer. As you an see a few minutes away all of this, and more awaits. I recognize the Strawberry Store. Obviously, these guys know what they are doing. Just watching this is a rush.

We shuttled it but it would probably take 1.5-2 hours to pedal up.

Nice riding, as always. These and some of the trails you guys hit in Tahoe are some I've never heard of or seen on camera before, and they are SICK! Weird how there is video after video of fairly mundane stuff, when trails like this are MUCH more interesing to watch. I have no doubt in my mind that the "Monarch Trail" in CO is scenic and a fun trail, and there are tons of videos out there covering it, but watching this on camera is much more interesting as a viewer.
@schoonhovenk7 жыл бұрын
I was just going to comment exactly this. i really appreciate the variety that this channel brings. Yeah they hit the famous trails too, but they do a great job of featuring trails that arent as well known. That and the lack of extensive talking makes all these videos have a ton of rewatchability.
@TrailPeek7 жыл бұрын
Pinecrest is some of my favorite stuff. It's really different than most Californian trails too, yet hardly anyone knows about it. Glad y'all dig it
