I charged mine up with 3000 pounds of nitrous and I use that double load each barrel of pellets and I tested it for FPS and it showed 1800 FPS, not bad for a home trick.

It’s similar to a .410 flavor of shotgun. Once broke in it’ll do close to 1100 fps with 8. I own the Wing Shot. If you want more shot, double load it, it’ll do it with no problem and this way you are getting more shot than a .410, closer to 20ga in capacity.

Michigan is in the process of clarifying hunting language for Turkey and it sounds like they might be adding airgun shotguns as a legal method of hunting. I compared the Double barrel with the WIngshot II single barrel and the wingshot II wins hands down. First, looks . . . although this is very personal, I think the single barrel is just better looking with the fin on top. Then there is your "follow up shot". The double shot barrel isn't faster then the single barrel version at all. And this is your main selling point. We tried it many times and there's absolutely no advantage over the single barrel version. When you shoot both guns, you need to cock both guns for the follow up shot. So there's no advantage for the double barrel over the single barrel. Then the only thing you need to do with the single barrel version is dropping your projectile in and close the breech, this only takes about 3 to 5 seconds. With the double barrel you need to look at the barrel selector first and turn it, making sure the mark on the selector knob lines up with the line on the second barrel that is loaded and then you take your shot. This selector often needs a firm hand to turn, but even if it turns smooth, it takes 3 to 5 seconds as well, so there's absolutely no gain. Then there's another downside to the double shot, accuracy. This shotgun has smooth bore barrel(s) which means the accuracy is not that great to start with when shooting shot, round balls or slugs. With the double barrel that aim becomes even more of an issue. A real shot gun has more power so if your shot is a little off, power makes up for that. With this gun your aim needs to be spot on. So nothing beats the single barrel with the bead in the middle. Then the double barrel has an equal amount of shots compared to the wingshot. If the double barrel had double tubes like the dragon claw, it would at least have an advantage there, but it doesn't. Last but not least, a double barrel means more o-rings and a barrel selector wheel, the more parts a gun has, the more chance something breaks. There's one advantage in favor of the double shot, you can put 2 arrows in both barrels, loading a second arrow in a single barrel takes more time. But I'm not much of an arrow shooter so for me that's not a deal breaker.

Well if you haven't purchased yet I would recommend waiting for the UMAREX® PRIMAL 20 SLUG AIRGUN RIFLE. Will have double the power far more likely to kill a duck. As far as the wing shot. You're supposed to use steel shot for water waterfowl, air venturi duent sell premade steel. you would have to buy empty shotshells and fill them with steel likely a large bb as well to transfer enough energy.

A .410 has been used for small game for who knows how long, the Wing Shots are very similar to a .410, and if double loaded, you get more shot than a .410, closer to a .20ga. It hits hard out to 30 yards. I know, I own the Wing Shot and love it, I’ve also had many shotguns in my life and know exactly what they are capable of. Velocity is around 1050 fps for the Wing Shot using no.8 shot, where the .410 is around 1200 to 1350. Rabbits and squirrels can’t tell the difference.
