Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes - Motonari Mori | Blue Path (Part 2)

Motonari only has two paths, so this'll be the last we see of him. I really like Yoshitsugu's cutscene with him in this because of just how damn pissed off he gets.
Motonari's R2s are all kind of meh, in my opinion. His first one lets him brainwash some enemy soldiers to fight alongside him, which isn't particularly useful and when there are no peons around an officer it's outright useless against them.
His 2nd R2 is probably his best, it lets him summon a ray of sunlight down on the enemy which can stun officers even. The major downside is that he's wide open while doing this and all it takes is a single poke from and peon to get knocked out of the attack.
His 3rd R2 has him toss out a ring when shrinks, closing in on enemies and exploding in the center. Officers tend to just shrug this off and move our of the center of the ring, almost never taking the full damage from it even if thrown directly at them.

The last two stages are definitely what makes Motonari's Blue route stand out. Osaka Castle has shades of Sima Yi's Xuchang campaign in DW6. And the Nakatomigawa battle is a great example of why Patrick Seitz was a great choice to voice Motochika.

i agreed with the fight on Yoshitsugu... i just suddenly can't stomach his rant where i was like "Oh god have mercy"

27:51 What a good timing for Mitsunari's BASARA! XD XD Ugh... I just can't stand Motonari's personality... I cheer each time in anime or videogames when Yukimura or Motochika get Motonari broken in some way or another... Also, in BASARA 4 Sumeragi, in Yoshitsugu's drama route, it's way satisfying to see Yoshitsugu betray and defeat Motonari at least once... My sweet lord, even Yoshitsugu, Matabei, HISAHIDE and NOBUNAGA are way more sympathetic than him! That being said, I think Motonari is necessary to BASARAverse, I think he's actually a good character, just not a good person at all. On a side note, I like how Mitsunari actually cares for his allies... at his own way, that is, but he cares. I mean, if Yukimura and Motochika see it as a good thing being his ally...
