Kich's owner Sebastian reached out to let me know Kich had unfortunately has passed away. He showed incredible signs of improvement after his adjustment, and was even using his front paws more, but his health declined in the following weeks and his owners helped him cross over the rainbow bridge in comfort. Kich was very loved by his family, as well as the entire Animal Cracker Community, and it is an honor to be able to immortalize Kich with one of my favorite videos I've gotten to make and share with you. Thank you all for your kind words and I hope you can continue to enjoy Kich's video.

I'm so sorry to hear this sweet boy has passed! I wonder what he died from? I wonder too if having taken him to you (or a vet) sooner upon noticing the problem would have been beneficial? He reminds me of my boy Tequila, who passed away 9 months ago. I'm still having a very tough time missing him and know what they're going through. I wish them the best.

Another sign: look for “ungroomed” fur. Cats use flexibility to groom. I took my 18 YO cat to my chiropractor when she stopped jumping on chairs, and he adjusted her hip. Only later did I realize she had stopped grooming areas that were painful to reach. She jumped onto a chair and took care of it as soon as we got home.

@@xobelladonna2443 he was very much a good boy. If a cat doesn't like something or are scared they will hiss/growl, like you'd complain about something. If they don't attack and just complain though, that's being very good. Just grumpy. My girl is a biiiiig drama queen, the whole package of growling, hissing and screaming if she doesn't like something but she'd NEVER attacked nor will ever attack, that's just how she is Some cats are just complainers, they're still very good furbabies

Hey, Dr. Doug! I may be incorrect, but this is the first time I've seen you use this type of head-to-head, soft whispering, super gentle technique with a cat. It worked well because he looked at you like he understood everything you were telling him, lol. And the immediate trust you built with him was heartwarming. I like that you shared a bit of the subjective info about Kich's complaints at the beginning of your vlog, a nice touch. Another loving, thoughtful, and interesting video of your expertise and your love of animals. I believe Kich is feeling better after his session, and I pray he'll be jumping on the counters and walking up the steps as soon as possible. ❤️

Also, kudos to the tutors who see the signs of pain and discomfort on their pet and have the initiative of going to a specialist. @@bluejay3333 My beautiful Flamepoint passed away 9 months ago - we were a "bonded pair" so to speak and my husband and I continue to grieve hard! He too could be aggressive, but the more specific traits he maintained from the Siamese side were his high intelligence, his talkative nature and his "engaged" personality. He had to be a part of everything we did! Of course there are non-Siamese kitties with these ⁶traits" but they definitely tend to be more pronounced in any of the Siamese mixes... An interesting note about Flamepoints is that their point colorings can differ depending on the climate in which they live! For instance, the points tend to be lighter "rose" in warm, sunnier regions while Flamepoints residing in colder, less sunny regions tend to have more deeply colored points! We live in sunny California and our little guy had softly colored rose tips and a lighter body color generally. Enjoy your Flamepoint(s)! It's a wonderful breed...

Just started watching your videos. The horse one hooked me 😂. Anyways thank you for what you do. No one even thinks of these things and at first I was like “yea right.” But you can see it when they realize “whoa this hurts for a second but is helping me.”

Hi Dr Doug, I've just come across this video and am seeing your work for the first time. Firstly, Kich is adorable, so sad he's in pain. But he did appear to respond positively to you, even after the little hiss he simmered again quickly. I'm in England and regularly see my chiropractor for adjustments, I'd never thought of Chiropractic for animals before it's great. It's so true what everyone here is saying, your manner with your patient and his family was perfection. It would be great if they did watch this video and could give us an update on how Kich is doing now. I've subscribed and can't wait to see more of your work. All the best to you. Thank you for sharing ♥️

WOW, what a powerful video watching this doctor treat this animal with what I call GENUINE RESPECT and honor. When their cat put his little head next to Dr. Willen's head I nearly passed out. I gasped with surprise and joy hardly believing this miraculous blessing that I just witnessed. What a wonderful love this doctor has for life for people and animals !!! I'm new to this channel but I'm oh so glad that I'm watching it. Thank you Dr. and God bless you greatly.

It's kind of strange that most cat people are not aware of the blinking slowly thing. Always have used that on our rescues. It can take years to gain their trust, and the blinking can help in the process.

Yes i think so too, it is important to adapt one’s behavior to the animal. Horse react not the some way than a cat and a cat not the same way than a dog…thank you Cyndi.

Dr Willen, Kitch was getting to know you and as the session went on he knew and felt that he could trust you. At 6:36 I can clearly see what you mean, he does have two different eye color, that’s so cool. In the end he hissed when you’ve adjusted him with that thing. He was the perfect 👌patient and the headbutt was adorable cute. Thank you 🙏for making everyone feel comfortable which makes your job easier, you’re really that awesome 👏and very talented.
