Sir you are doing a wonderful job. I feel the case to the bottom of my heart. At present banking is not happening in the Indian bank branch. The only mis selling the product is going at the bank. RBI and IRDAI should take necessary action and make a hard solid law. There should be provision to punish the agent .

My wife went to SBI branch for account opening and in disguise of setting up her YoNo, the SBI General Insurance agent applied for a policy from her app. We got to know about it only when the amount was deducted. Since I knew about the free look in period, I sent a mail and got it cancelled.

These victims appear to be basically illiterates but since they live in a metro city of dreams they look like literates. It is a sad story that comprehension skills of learning any passage, writing skill have little value in cities and therefore they suffer.

Hi Sir, I’d like to respectfully express my disagreement with your perspective. Trust is a fundamental principle in any society. For instance, a doctor must rely on an engineer to build their home, and vice versa; a qualified engineer trusts a doctor when they need medical care. We all depend on (trust) others while completing various aspects of our lives. This family placed their trust in the bank's employees and were unfortunately misled. Do you truly believe it was unreasonable for them to trust the staff of a nationalized bank? Regards

मेरे साथ भी हुआ था 2 साल पहले। FD करवाने गया पीएनबी मेट में करवा दिया मना करने के बाद भी ऐसा लगा जैसे पीएनबी का स्टाफ हो। अगले दिन सीधे फोन किया pnb को और irda को ऐसी तैसी फेरी इनकी उसके बाद सारे पैसे वापिस कर दिए।

Sir i appreciate your work but i want to give you one advice that pls make a full knowlegable video on how to purchase a insurance policy like a investment because there are many policies running in market and giving the huge return to there customers.....one thing policies are never bad because if they are in market it means they approved by IRDAI......but in this type of fraud all fault is done by that particular agent and also mistake done by customer who is signing papers without reading them......they should know how to invest in insurance then only they get benifit......so pls make a video that how to invest in insurance.......dont blaim companies like this.

I recommend opting solely for term insurance for risk coverage and firmly declining any suggestions from agents or advisors to invest in life insurance. This is absolute nonsense. Instead of wasting time fighting with PNB metlife, why not the woman Jagni or his son who is doing post graduation start working? I understand that father is too old to work but this woman or his son can easily start working and make at least 15-17 k per month if not more and that would easily take care of 1.5 Lakhs policy amount annually and can also make some extra money into the household. Living on rent is not living. Its barely surviving. They live in Delhi and the whole family lives on rent which the old man is getting. This woman Jagni needs to pull up her socks and start working instead of being dependent on your father when he is 79. That being said, what agent did was horrible. That should have not happened and Government should take some steps to mitigate these actions and take strict actions against these agents contracted with Banks. But this situation can be sorted out if Jagni or his son start working and take care of this policy. They just have to pay 3 years more as 2 payments are already deducted and can get benefits by 2029.

Hello, Sir I'm pleased to inform you that this matter has been resolved. The insurance company's senior management decided to cancel the mis-sold policy and reimburse the family with the premium that was paid by them after the case was brought to their attention via this channel and further information about it was given to them.
