This was the last year of major Jay as Band director, Most of us were limping along trying our best with a dyeing program.

1) Why is a student using choral conducting methods at the beginning of a band concert? 2) Are the trumpets incapable? 3) Why can't the strings be in tune? 4) Why are all the woodwinds drastically out of tune and with no support? This is not the Villa Park I knew. I appreciate the effort, but am concerned that Villa Park is losing the greatness that it once had.
