I'm having a hard time deciding if I'll go for STEM, ICT, or arts and design. I'm not the best in math and science, but I can see that I'm learning faster than the average person my age in these subjects. I also feel like this strand can give me the most knowledge and good opportunities. But editing and doing technical work is something I wouldn't get bored of. Yet, I've always loved art and design since I was a little. I've acquired a lot of drawing skills, and I've always been invested in the arts and fashion. I don't know what to choose.But I don't feel like going to GAS considering its consequences.

Thank you for creating this video Sir Ermac. I'm a grade 9 student right now and i'm having hard time right now deciding which tracks or strand should i enroll. I would like to take Arts & Design track since i'm like a huge fan of anime culture and music, but at the same time, Math and Science is like my best subject even though my grades aren't that good since these subjects is really interesting. One thing that concerns me tho is the grades. I'm in real bad situation rn since the pandemic started. I just have a lot of blanks in my card when i was grade 8. I really wanna improve my self a lot in terms of discipline, responsibility, and time management, but i just like anime a lot. Idk if SHS requires grades to join easily, and i'm really concerned.....

HEELPPP. at first, sure ako na i will take ABM strand since na observe ko many of my interest is naka base sa strand na yun something like business, to work sa office and also to take flight attendant. That was my plan back then years ago pero now, incoming grade 11 and thinking about STEM strand😭 since my brother told me so and marami siyang sinabi about dun and well ofc mas prioritize talaga ang mga STEM students. As of now, natatakot ako, ang hirap mag adjust and im not that good in every subjects so for sure ill be shock and baka hindi maka survive😭 so basically, as of now my heart tells to take ABM but my brain tells me to take STEM. NOW WHAAAATTTTT

I think what matters is your portfolio but again this depends on what field of arts you are looking for. Are you looking into fine arts? Visual arts? Graphic design? Some schools require you to have a portfolio while some don't so it depends from school to school. Take this with a grain of salt from a grade 10 student.
