With Roxy being as dainty as she is, she has to look up to everyone to see what’s going on. Having her neck locked, the only thing she could see was ankles! It amazes me how Dr. Cracker does a couple of flicks of the wrist, and boom.. Roxy can see everything now ❤

Way to go Roxy! She probably yelped because her neck was stuck for a little while but it was over in a second and immediately you could see her hold her head higher! I appreciate Dr how you try to loosen the tight muscles before you do the adjustments. I didn't know there was such a thing as a chiropractor that works on animals until I saw your channel. I thinks it's great as I've been seeing a chiropractor for years myself and can't live without one. One day if and when I get a pet I know I can take them to a chiropractor too! God bless! 💕 💞

Can definitely see the improvements following each adjustment even though she’s a little one- holding her head up, moving more quickly, shaking out, licking, etc. She seemed more sprightly by the end and you could hear the clicks each time when adjusting. Roxy reminds me of my former pomeranian who had knee issues- makes me wonder if an adjustment would’ve helped him. Nice job again Dr. Doug!

I love Pomeranians, I know one who has all white fur, Lucky always tries to scare me but scared of little dogs, you won’t see him being so tough around little dogs. I'm impressed you were able to navigate that tiny body wrapped in a cloud of fluff 🥺😆 So good to see her moving better! And I think about my cat Alex who started pain medication around 16 because he seemed stiff and tired and then his healthy kidneys deteriorated so we had to put him down at 17. I wonder if chiro work would have helped him feel fresher without the risky medication... I'll never know but I sure wish there was an animal chiropractor around here because it seems like such a helpful treatment for some conditions! 🙂

Professional groomer of 30 years here...while short styles on Pomeranians have become popular in the last few years, it is extremely bad for the coat and metabolism of the dog. Many poorly bred Poms have alopecia, and to make their bodies smooth instead of patchy the areas with hair are cut short, but for a Pom with a full coat clipping it creates more problems than it solves. Pomeranians have two distinct types of hair; the undercoat that traps heat and lets go of the skin each spring, and the outercoat that shades the skin from the sun, has water resistant tendencies, and holds the color. By clipping the coat short, a person removes the benefits of the outercoat and doesn't remove the old, dead undercoat at the skin. This can lead to the coat growing back very slowly, spotty, or not at all, even in dogs that have been clipped and grew back OK in the past, if it is done at a time when the hair follicles are going through the natural regeneration phase. The metabolic effects include the highly increased likelihood of a dog developing allergies and/or becoming obese (even when compensating for other factors). Owners who clip their undercoated dogs (other examples of breeds with this type of coat are Golden Retrievers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Shetland Sheepdogs, Samoyeds, Great Pyrs, and Keeshonden) because they think their dogs are/will be hot or because they think the dogs is cute with a short haircut are doing their dogs a great disservice and create lifelong problems.

I had an old Persian we could groom either due to severe lumbar spondylosis. Had to shave her I’m her last couple of years. I was comfortable popping her so I just did myofascial release.

😂😂I've seen your videos with Ruby and I know she passed away and it hurt my heart she was a beautiful family member. I Texting about the blue pit service dog she's sweet and I know the woman had another service dog 15 1/2 years I'm sorry about the passing I know it hurts! I can't remember the dogs named. But when Dr Doug finished she turned a little bit and smell all the instruments the chair he was sitting on like well you touch me I can smell everything you use on me and she was so happy! Great service dog! You have a keeper there honey!! Please tell then I text !

for a severely matted dog I would typically tell the owners to go and get the dog clipped because you could be putting the dog more out of alignment pressing on 1 area though effect in another part due to matted hair

@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen I lover your content Doug, however I detest people who don't maintain the heath of the hair of their dogs If I were in your job and work an animal with severe matting i would tell them to take it and get it a hair cut, the dog looked like it was in heat distress I wouldn't be surprised to find it having lime disease also or something similar you wouldn't know if there was buried tick under all that fur I would not attempt even massage on the dog due to severe matting of its fur you may cause issues on other parts of its body due to transference of pressure.. you may do more harm than good in a similar scenario Doug
