Since Singapore citizens are entitled to the purchase of BTO flats twice per lifetime, we should fully make use of it for right-sizing purpose which can yield a sizeable surplus (cash and CPF) for retirement

Why should I downgrade? If I am cash rich, like $10m. I can continue to live in my condo There is no right or wrong. Everyone has different perspective of life

I find quality of life in hdb much better than some heartland condos that are crammed and far from amenities; why do people even strive to live in those condos?

I already bought 2 new HDB. I don't like resales. So, I have to buy condo for my child security plus facilities for my child.

For landed owners, why not move out and stay in the child’s flat/condo and let the child’s family occupy and upkeep the bigger house?

Not for me. I'm going to enjoy my landed and money before drop dead..people after that do what they want. Already my children and his family going to benefits. My maid need space too. I dont want her in my space too. 😂

Must leave all your legacy to your children, no matter they good or bad, sometimes things out of your control , but they are your blood. I have seen many old couples around me, they are thinking making big donation to church instead of giving to their chidlren. pls! Dont be so naive. like thinking donate everything to church ? crazy, the whole life hard work, dedicated, save penny whatever you can, then before you bye bye you donate everything to church? you sure you know how they gonna use your money ? hehe, wake up.
