I had to be in a nursing home for a month. It was rated the best. I cried the care was so bad. I’m disabled and couldn’t move from the neck down. I can use my arms now. But would NEVER allow anyone I know to stay there.

Building out an appropriate CCRC community to meet the future needs of our boomer population would cost anywhere between $100M - $350M + depending on the size, amenities, land acquisition cost, etc. Were you looking into building a property like that or something smaller like independent, assisted living, memory care type community?

@@KrisChana thx for the response. So I see that the ultimate is to build the 100 to 350 million project. But to start off - so I am on the right track - what would be the right way ? I already am in real estate investing , so to find a place , get it approved for such establishments and rent them out to such places..... maybe even develop a property from starch ( a small say 5 - 10 units one ). Ones I have that on my record- portfolio, than I can aim for the larger projects ? is that a plan. Plus for these smaller projects , what would be the best, renting to Assistant living facilities or Senior housing or what exact type? Of course I am assuming that the rental income would be a lot more than just renting to regular tenants ..and a place that I can outsource to run day by day ....

Yes. Unfortunately with inflation, labor shortages, construction costs and everything else going on senior housing will continue to become even more expensive!
