Amazing headphones for their size and weight, that can deliver a full audio experience!
Both balanced cables (2.5mm and 4.4mm) DO MAKE a big difference in sound quality but more info will follow in the review video where I will try to test them with one device/cable (smartphone, Fiio X5 gen3 and Sony Walkman NW-WM1Z SIGNATURE)

the High Res Audio icon, is it a sticker , can you remove it ?, cause i saw some ie 800 with high res audio on packe and some without

tripieXXX the price difference between the two in my country is 50%. So the choice is difficult to make considering this. But anyway, if you have a balanced player and you want to make the most of it and of the headphones go for IE800S. If you don't have a balanced player go for the IE800.

Don't buy any of these. Too much cable noise. The're impossible to use outdoors.
