Sennheiser MD 431-II A Request For Exploration!

Hello Mr. Browne, have you ever tried the Lewitt LCT 440 pure it is pretty flat 1" condenser mic at an affordable price and it comes with a lot of accessories. I'm curious about your opinion on that particular microphone. Best regards, Dennis.

Interesting. Similar voice, here, and similar findings with my 431. Used to love it, but am now more enamored of my pimped V7 X with an MK basket. Wondering how the Austrian Audio OD505 would stack up in the bunch you just compared. Oh, and I totally concur with your relative lack of love for the sizzling, balls-free Sennheiser.

Hi Antone hope you're well there appears to be a tribute or copy of an old akg microphone now called the warm audio wa 19 with a manual high pass filter id love to hear your thoughts on this Beatles style microphone many thanks .

I prefer it to the 58a by some margin... classier. Of course it depends on voice and musical style.

Considering that Sennheiser 431 is a pretty expensive microphone that capsule looks MIGHTY CHEAP!! are you sure that is a genuine Sennheiser and not a copy coz that does not look right to be fair?
