Sennheiser’s Answer to Chi-Fi: The IE 200

Somehow the IE 200 has elicited mixed opinions from reviewers. I tend to like it.

The ie200 is actually tuned better than the ie900. Considering the fact that the tuning is the most important factor (at least to an experienced audiophile), the ie200 can be called a better iem than the ie900 and im not joking here. All these other factors like a dap for 3k dollars that allegedly turns a poorly tuned ie900 into a beast are irrelevant. I myself have a flagship AK dap and even tho it sounds better than a decent dongle, it wont make poorly tuned iems better sounding. The tuning is the King and i would take any 100-200 dol well tuned iems over a 3-5k badly tuned ones. Lets dont even start about the cables to save us some decency lol.

Hi Sajid great review again I think it's a good iem for listening while sleeping. However I have unrelated question 8 can't decide between IE900 and Unique Melodie Mest MKII is ie900 better option over Mest MKII or Mest is superior. Since you have both you will be able to provide better advice. Thanks 🙏

Currently looking for a $100-200 IEM to truly jump clear of the Chu and Final E1000 range and get some technical ability. Thinking of this, The Dunu Titan S, the Tripowin Olina SE or perhaps even the Tangzu Zeitan Wu Heyday. Olina seems to be the most well-rounded of the bunch, but I'll certainly give this a try if it's got a softer, more natural presentation for when I'm listening to laid-back tracks and video. Also, are you ever going to get your hands on the HE1000se and compare it to the Arya and Susvara?

Are you sure you were getting a full seal regarding your impressions of the bass impact? Apparently a lot of folks are reporting that the inner port on the stem isn't achieving a proper seal with stock tips. Timmy from Gizaudio taped his port and found that the bass response was significantly improved. Certain tips also block the port moire effectively. I'd be curious to hear your updated impressions after messing around with getting a proper seal on the tips!

Why Shouer S12 is so often suggested to people baffles me. It sounds harsh, shrill, shouty and sibilant. Glad i got rid of that one when the hype was still around. Lol

Superb rewiew. I own Sen ie8, hifi p1, letshuoer s12 whit basically all dongle until 300 bucks. IE200 isn't metallic as s12.. Sound natural no fatigue. After 2 week listening ie 200 vs my chi hifi. I went to buy a IE900. Obvius is a different leguue and money... In short a perfect rewiew in my humble opinion.
