His movement is more tidy, more precise, ball hitting is more compact and effortless and also his body's angle to the incoming ball is almost always inclined towards the front, like he is always moving forward into the ball when hitting.

Musetti definitely has a clean racquet technique but it is clear that in terms of balance, at least in this video and perhaps due to their first training, he lacks Djokovic’s lower body stability and ball timing on both wings. This result quite an observation that he must jump a bit or doing jerky things with his upper body in contrast of Djokovic’s rotation without leaving ground. They seem to hit the ball with equivalent speed but 18 gs winner clearly does it with more “pace” and calm.

anyone who has played ever tennis at any level knows this .It is so incredibly difficult to hit balls that deep into the court flatly and consistently
@eincan13133 жыл бұрын
They are not hitting flat, they are hitting with tons of spin, which allows them to hit hard with control. The RPM”s are quite high, not like Nadal, Thiem, Sock etc... but they are spinning it pretty well. When you see any ATP player or high level college players court level you see how much net clearance there is versus what appears on TV from above. Even Delpo who is considered a “flat” hitter clears it by quite a lot. All based on spin, which you need to be consistent if you are hitting with speed and depth.
