I actually thought of the same thing. If we go with the assumption that they're still conscious to some extent in their item forms, what if Spamton actually reacted to Jevil if you tried to equip them both onto the same character? It's clear that Spamton doesn't like Jevil and is even afraid of him, so I thought that would lead to a pretty interesting interaction.

If the player selected Yes in that moment, Susie would hang around until Kris had gotten better. She even joked about turning Kris and Ralsei into candles, and Kris actually felt amused by the joke.

@@smallguy73 I think that Kris not liking hugs is still a possibility. Even if there are fans who disprove that in order to probably make hugging Ralsei feel validated. But I feel like Kris not liking hugs would have more of an impact with that option at having Kris asking Susie for a hug. Because if Kris does actually not like them, then them actively asking for Susie to hug them, would be huge for their character.

What is it that makes him suspicious? Cause in this moment, to me at least, I think Ralsei was just trying to keep the team focussed. They had a more pressing matter to attend to, with Queen threatening to unwittingly bring on the apocalypse. ... Not that this moment should be brushed aside, but rather brought up later.

Their are so,e very slight hints that Kris doesn’t like Ralsei or at the very least doesn’t trust him. The mechanic with the Tea where they heal more for the compatibility between everyone for example. Susie likes everyone so heals for the maximum amount meanwhile Kris gets healed for the minimum amount drinking Ralsei Tea. When a given the choice of saying you’d like to bring Ralsei to the festival Kris’ tone is weird as if they didn’t actually believe themselves when they said the answer. But Kris does seem to legitimately like Susie for all the examples given and Kris asks (without prompt from us) for a hug from Susie.

I actually really like the attention to detail how the heart is hovering towards Yes, but Kris defies the command by screaming his *true* emotional state. Something I also liked is why Kris _actually_ screams, or at least the hypothesis behind it. He wants to say he's _not_ fine, but he expects the player to say he IS fine because they don't understand how he feels. So, he's preemptively hyping himself up to resist the command *Yes* as much as possible, which is why the "I'm fine" comes out so strained and forced; however because you said No and he was already pushing so heavily to say no himself, it's like letting go of a rope that someone was pulling with all their might. So... he screams it out much harsher than he expected. Edit: Oops I gendered Kris. Whoops. Guess I'll die.

This scene really makes me hope that later in the chapters that we, the heart, and Kris can come to some kind of symbiotic relationship rather than a parasitic one. I don't think that Kris asked for this much in the same way that the heart didn't ask for this, we made a vessel at the beginning of the game and somebody took it from us. Or I could be completely wrong and we're absolutely fucking evil.

you tryed to say yes instead, so that cant be it. and kris doesnt move his mouth like he is saying no, it looks more like he is shocked because of the sudden yell. i think it was that item you got from spamton. the items you get from the secret bosses are basicly them and become a item for you to use and fight/defend with. so using that evidence, i think spamton was the one saying it (while he is still in his item form).
