Great for couples learning together. Useless for a bachelor, as 95% (at least) of girls aren't going to be able to follow that.

I am curious if the social scene in your area is truly developed, what is the age average and the average experience of a dancer. Maybe this is too complex, for now, for the social scene were you go to parties. I am not trying to insult anyone, but if you compare apples to oranges... things will look different. Visit cities that have a really active social dancing scene and you will meet another world. In our city there are 4 parties per week. Age average is ~30 years.... average level of a dancer is 2+ years of dancing. In the other 4 main cities that have strong dancing community, there are 2-5 parties each week, age average is between 20-40, average level of a dancer is 2-5 years of social/classes. And this is low level compared to Spain for example. What I am saying with this is... if you want to do complex things with dancers that have no experience, or you don't have many parties in which you learn, or the social scene is not developed, you won't be able to do them. Also, if you don't dance at least 6 hours per week you won't be able to evolve too much in 2 years. Our average student has around 10-12 hours of dance per week (4 hours class + 2 parties that are between 3-5 hours) ... It doesn't mean that you cannot do complex things, but it means that you cannot do complex things if the environment is not yet developed. Hope this makes sense. Keep on practicing and maybe in 2 years you will change your mind...
