A recommendation also to switch your Catholic news outlets from EWTN post St. Mother Angelica, L'Osservatore Romano, The World Over and the like to Catholic News Networks such as Church Militant, Anthony Stein: Return to Tradition, LifeSiteNews, Dr. Taylor Marshall, The Remnant Newspaper, Bishop Fulton J. Sheen, Defeat Modernism and the like. We need to give them support charitably so we can get the truth out there free from censorship and demonetization!! The every day cable and local Televised Programming is distracting us away from praying. God bless you all.

Really simple and insightful sermon that opens our eyes to reality. Gave me full desire to pray the rosary often and as much as possible. When it comes to the scapular, that the father mentioned at 27:30, seems to me he is talking about The White Scapular of Sacred Heart of Jesus. It was approved appiritions of Holy Mary to Esttelle Faguette in Pellevoison, France (not Belgium), that took place in 1876. May we strive yo console the Immaculate Heart of Mary and have faith and love in the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Pax Christi

I think this is the consecration prayer: “O Immaculata, Queen of Heaven and earth, refuge of sinners and our most loving Mother, God has willed to entrust the entire order of mercy to you. I, (name), a repentant sinner, cast myself at your feet humbly imploring you to take me with all that I am and have, wholly to yourself as your possession and property. Please make of me, of all my powers of soul and body, of my whole life, death and eternity, whatever most pleases you. If it pleases you, use all that I am and have without reserve, wholly to accomplish what was said of you: “She will crush your head,” and, “You alone have destroyed all heresies in the world.” Let me be a fit instrument in your immaculate and merciful hands for introducing and increasing your glory to the maximum in all the many strayed and indifferent souls, and thus help extend as far as possible the blessed kingdom of the most Sacred Heart of Jesus. For wherever you enter, you obtain the grace of conversion and growth in holiness, since it is through your hands that all graces come to us from the most Sacred Heart of Jesus.”

Why do we have to suffer in this life to be happy in the next? Some may have this logical question. For me it's in overcoming sin. That's hard to do for a lot of people, including me and I'm still not there yet. Look at it as a great spiritual adventure. The greatest one. Outdoorsmen (people) face hardships enjoying nature. How much more heaven? I try to live by that but admit I fail with personal vices, too. Don't get over-discouraged - keep going through it. And pray.

Confession today was extremely helpful and cathartic I just hate my sins so much. You are certainly right because I need to trust in Mary's Rosary and her Scapular far more than I do and never give up on those along with prayer when I'm in the throws of temptations (this is why I wish I didn't live as an atheist for 15 years because my sins were so terrible and because of so many awful sins it take time to change and only Jesus and Mary have ever given me and success over my sins because the temptations are so strong and there is just a lot to fix when it comes to my soul lol).

I look at it as an investment and an adventure. Your life is like that, it will just require more maintenance to bring it back and restore it. The more it comes around the more you'll enjoy it and take care of it spiritually. You're already doing it. That Victorian will far outlive me and it's already 120+ years old. The children had Our Lady's spiritual buffer to protect their spiritual/mental/emotional health from conversations about and/or seeing hell. I've received locutions of Our Lady, and as wretched as I am, Our Lady was always full of celestial smiles. There was only once, recently, that Our Lady was shocked & horrified with a devout priest, the Director of the National Shrine of Divine Mercy (My impression) for calling any person "Illegitimate". No person can be with God, as his Father and Creator, no matter their circumstances of birth. Our Lady of Good Success could not have said that these children cannot receive the blessing of the Church, but that their circumstances would make it difficult for them to [comprehend it].

Our Lord and his Mother are glorified in Heaven. We cannot appease God in any way for Christ has done this on the cross. We should love the Lord with all of our hearts mind and soul and love our neighbors but appeasement? We are not dealing with any Angry God like the pagans worship. God said "Believers go to the grave at death, where they "sleep" until the resurrection" (I Cor 15). God never contradicts himself which means 'Mary' has never been back on earth in any form that the RCC teaches. No one on earth knows 'who' will end up in heaven or hell so why does the RCC pray to the creations of human flesh who have died & r in the grave? The Bible plainly says that "no man has ascended to heaven" John 3:13 (RCC says Mary did) & "ALL have sinned" Rom 3:23, (RCC says Mary never sinned), & "no one is truly righteous" Rom 3:10 (RCC makes Mary equal to God by making her a co redeemer). Why has the RCC always ignored & contradicted the words of God?

I'm so confused..., Our Lady of Fatima promised Her Immaculate Heart would triumph. However, the way I see things it looks certain that a massive fallen away from the faith has happened or continues to happen. What apostasy in the future could be worse than this...? You are not confused because you recognized heresy. You sound afraid which is natural. The remedy is what it has ALWAYS BEEN, prayer and penance. @@margaretboyle8719 Heretical? There is nothing wrong to pray the luminious mysteries. If you don't like them, then leave them. I'm fine with preaching about hell. I'm fine with preaching about suffering and sacrifice. I accept the words spoken here, at their literal meanings. What I don't accept is the tangible contempt this individual has for the people to whom he speaks. He might consider why it was that God chose to strip away the Church's glory, as well as Our Lady of La Salette's tears over the wretchedness of priests.
@sadie45382 жыл бұрын
Maybe we’re just used to happy-clappy priests who -for how long now? - have been so soft or silent about these hard truths and this priest (among others) are pretty much just speaking out for all to wake up and may sound a bit harsh about it? Maybe we should pray for the priest. As for me, I didn’t detect contempt; more like frustration. God bless you.
@AnonymousUser-bp9no2 жыл бұрын
@@sadie4538 Again, no problem with hard truths being preached -- they need to be. But just as the Novus Ordo priests (the happy-clappy) are attracted to sugar-coated heresy and distorted views of God's Mercy, it seems Trad priests are similarly attracted to a severe view of God's justice -- probably as an expression of their own malice and desire to judge and send people to hell (I wouldn't be surprised if they became priests because they were social rejects and now use the pulpit as mechanism for exacting revenge by screeching at the congregation). I'm not sure which brand of priest is more poisonous to a person's salvation. And a bit of advice for the priest. People aren't that smart. They will remember their emotional reaction to how you said something, rather than remembering what you said (much less being able to logically evaluate it). All they will remember is "that guy is mean." Good luck saving souls when your obvious contempt for them scatters them to the wind.
@margaretboyle87192 жыл бұрын
@@AnonymousUser-bp9no You are a sad, little person. You hear contempt because you are DISPOSED to hear it. The truth hurts all of US SINNERS because we need to change, amend our lives, avoid sin, do better and it is difficult. The degree of anger to which you react to this priest is very telling; YOU CONDEMN yourself out of your own mouth. People are not as stupid as you seem to think; the contempt comes from you. Since the law of God is written on our hearts, as Scripture says, then on some level, we ALL know the truth when we hear it. I am grateful when I get the chance to hear it, after years of heretical slop.
@AnonymousUser-bp9no2 жыл бұрын
@@margaretboyle8719 Yes I'm disposed toward hearing it because I worked in an environment where such tonality would literally cause the death of children. I taught in one of the heaviest crime-ridden cities in the country. I had kids stagger into my room after getting stabbed, threaten gun violence in my classrooms, had students get shot and killed, saw female coworkers get sexually assaulted or shoved down stairs or slammed into doors with their bones getting broken, having their cars stolen and brought to chop shops, etc etc. The kids behaved terribly. And every now and then, a teacher would lose their cool and yell at the kids in a classroom. And know what the response was? Complete despair -- you could see the searing heartbreak on the children's faces. For a lot of these kids, teachers were literally the only "valid" authority figures they had in their lives. Dad was drunk, dead, in jail or had abandoned them, mom was hooked on drugs, and plenty of kids lived with their crippled grandmothers and worked after school as the sole provider for their families, if they weren't running in gangs. As bad as the teacher felt, screeching at the kids only worsened the problem. Because then the kid would become embittered toward them and would leave school altogether to run drugs full time for their gangs, or they'd choose to make the teacher's life hell as payback. The kids were only more likely to get themselves shot, stabbed, or die of an overdose if a teacher lost their temper -- and only the most naive teachers didn't know this (and of course others who simply didn't care). I do not care how frustrated this priest may be. He may be saying theologically correct things, but I know that tone of voice and I have known that tone of voice to literally kill kids. So yes I'm very sensitive to the way authority figures speak to people, because I've seen the consequences -- kids getting their brains blown out. Certainly there are never-ending examples in scripture concerning God's wrath and justice -- I've read all of it and have heard it preached on this channel plenty. You'll recall I agreed it should be preached. But one line of scripture I've never heard here is the following: "Fathers, provoke not your children to indignation, lest they be discouraged" (Colossians 3:21). If I'm pointed with the priest/brother in this video, it is because he seems to be unaware he is waving a loaded gun at a crowd of people. And I have heard this priest/brother several times on this channel (accumulating to several hours of video) and have gotten the same impression each time I've heard him speak. I'd prefer he not be guilty of someone's spiritual death, whether it be from malice and contempt, or more charitably from uncontrolled zeal. I hope that has clarified my posts for you. This will be my last on this video. God bless.
