Please pray for me I'm in a dog I've never felt before. I trance out to nowhere and wake up scared. So many things being said by so many. My cousin says just pray the Rosary, I do but doze off . Jesus hear me, I give my soul to you and your Mother Mary and the Holy Trinity. I want you to to be happy with me. Save me now.

FATHER RIPP...you are our only hope in the coming long years. You breakdown everything to its simplicity; however, for the first time, I understand this topic on grace better in your textbook. This is not like me; C’est la vie!
Only hope?! Fr. Ripperger would probably say: no, put all your hope in The Trinity and Dear Mother Mary - NOT MAN. Be careful not to break the 1st Commandment.....

@lukasandisaaktime9147 I think they meant as a spiritual teacher. Our only hope for those of us who are under catechized & don’t know where to start, how to find the door to open & avoid mistakes...? The priest at my church doesn’t talk this stuff or the stuff other online ones like Fr Alar(? spelling) at Devine Mercy.

This lecture is so valuable. Actual actions moms like me can take to be closer to God. These are doable, they make sense and I don’t have to go to a week long retreat. Thank you so much for providing this. I want to share some of this with friends who are struggling and maybe I can lead them back to our glorious church. God Bless is all. 😇🙏🏻

What if I were to tell you that you can move mountains ...with 'a little bit of help'? You would think I'm crazy - and rightly so. You would need MUCH more than 'a little bit help': you would need someone to do it for you because such an endeavor is COMPLETELY beyond your capabilites. And yet this is exactly what the Church has been teaching, ever since the Renaissance, in its Ordinary Magisterium: that Man can somehow save himself ... with 'a little bit of help' from God. In reality, nothing could be farther from the truth: the simple act of fulfilling one's basic duties, in a world as corrupt ours is, in and of itself, FAR BEYOND ANYONE'S CAPABILITIES... We can't do it - even with all the 'help' in the world! We need someone else to do it for us ENTIRELY - and that Person, of course, is God. By the way, coming to this realization used to be known as Humility...

Father Ripperger, I would appreciate it greatly if you would do some talks on humility. For over 40 years I have tried to have humility and to be as humble as possible but the only result I ever get is to feel even more useless and worthless than ever. It adversely effects my work and, contrary to what all the spiritual writers solemnly promise, it causes me to commit more sins, not fewer, especially sins of the flesh (one book I read on humility is that humility acts like a little captain that keeps all the other virtues in line----what hogwash). Maybe I am misunderstanding something, I don't know. I wasn't raised Catholic and don't have the benefit of years of Catholic instruction.

Habitual grace ?...or actually habitual sins can't be forgiven..where grace has run out..by insincere confession over and over again?
@geraldpascua81802 жыл бұрын
Yes - Per 26:29 "...the point is you just never want to get outside the "State of Grace." God has no obligation of giving you back into the State of Grace. As I mentioned from the pulpit St. Alphonsus Leguori, 'There comes a certain point where God by Divine Decree will only tolerate a certain number of moral sins from somebody and then he just pulls the plug. Because God had intended from the person to make use of the grace that one had received through the course of one's life.'" In addition, I suggest watching Fr. Chad Rippenger's other lecture: What is Confession? ~ Fr Ripperger.

@@geraldpascua8180but how can he make use of grace he doesn't have because he's unfit to receive it? If he's always been in the state of sin and has never received the grace I don't understand. You say he received grace not for himself but for other people but yet cannot receive it so how can he be greatful and put it to use. Maybe I spun myself around a half time too many or something...
