It'd be useful to hear about when you would go about pre-learning maths during the year, because as I can imagine it gets very busy at the beginning of year 13 and it seems hard to fit in learning all that new content on top of everything else. Very good video Sen, thank you!

I'm in year 2, just got a D as my predicted grade, I do so much revision for maths, however I just make really simple mistakes that I shouldn't and I keep feeling like have to learn things from step one, for example trigonometric identifies from year 2 is like learning how to rearrange all over again

good point; make a spreadsheet - or just write a weekly timetable/checklist that allocates 30 mins each week to reviewing certain topics on certain days at certain times; get into a routine of doing that

I got 4! but the minimum for cambridge courses is A*AA/A*A*AA ... of course that's the minimum and a lot of applicants are predicted all A*s after their first year performance at sixth form.. that said people who get predicted the minimum grades still get offers all the time

Hi Sen! I was considering doing my intercalated year (or two😁) in Engineering provided I get a place at Cambridge for Medicine. The problem is, I'm only doing Maths, Biology and Chemistry at A level. Would it still be possible for me to do this, provided I did the extra preparatory work before I started - perhaps even start a year behind? Or would this be completely off bounds? I too have strong interests in Med-tech and you have inspired me down this path to making the world a better place to live!

I would say don’t rewrite the textbook but do note down important information that isn’t common sense, like formulae and common mistakes
