Thank you for sharing some of the very informative historical facts related to Tucson's relationship to Old Mexico, Sentinel Peak, and of the U of A. I am a resident of Tucson and have been up on "A" Mountain on several occasions. It is a grueling bike ride up the hill, but an exhilarating decent is just barely more spectacular than the view from the top. I am also fortunate enough to have been a member of the pyrotechnic crew responsible for the famous Tucson 4th of July fireworks display for two years now. Looking forward to this years event. Thanks for these very interesting, informative, and well done videos....

The main reason for the washes (rivers) drying up was the cows the Spanish imported grazed all the flora. With the plant life gone, the soil couldn’t retain water.

If we could only have santa Cruz River running today. People wouldn't crap on Tucson as I know so many to do to this day. Temporary money over nature's everlasting beauty.
