The only thing that Mogakene is disputing is the assault and attempted murder of Ntanzi. Besides that . Mokgane is on the same page with Ntanzi. Everything is toe to toe consistency except murder and assault allegations. In a normal court situation. Police will have a different version of events with the accused persons. In this case, Mokgane is Ntanzi's witness . I'm aware that Mokgane does not know he is Ntanzi's best friend witness. But he is doing excellent job for Ntanzi. The defence counsel has to work together because if one of their clients is found guilt all of them will follow suit because they are pinned together so the state wants to hold tight on Ntanzi because they thought Ntanzi defence stevovo was not sharp with words hence he took mngomezulu and now the state wants to buy time because their evidence is crumbling down. In fact the state under estimated the defence from the word go ,that's why they frustrated Teffo until he quit as defense counsel hoping to capitalise on that not knowing the unsuspected will happen.

Of course they have to , but unfortunately they have lost the case, sebebambe izidindi. For the fact that there are more than one confession statements made, Zungu pinned them, Ntanzi is a liar, has made the defense weak. Ukuthi amaphoyisa abaphatha kanjani uAccused 1 n 2 akubalulekile kunokuthi they are part of the murder committed, more to one of the most important people in the country. The defense is just dillydallying - abavume kufundwe amaconfessions and thereafter prove that their clients aren't guilty.

If only the defense would ask which questions were asked about the Nongoma case, what evidence did they have that was so strong to allow them to arrest without a warrant. He was supposed to be killed outside during the trip to the tuckshop but they realized they would be seen and apprehended by the public... so they waited for him to sort of come inside, ref the spot he was attacked on. The witnesses from the house called by the state to testify deliberately fumbled this case to protect whoever but as more witnesses are called after them, giving more or less the same evidence, kuyacaca vele as it was before ukuthi indaba isendlini BUT the catch is the accused might have been the so called 'intruders' and they are trying to protect themselves. Should their confessions be read, this case will take another shape towards calling those who were in the house (but not yet called) to come and testify for I have a feeling that their names might be in those statements.
