Love that you have enough repect and love for this music ( like me) to take the time to look back on the history. In that remember these are the ones who helped rebuild South Korea and 'soft power' after the AFC ( Asian Financial Crisis) 👍💯😁

Hello, nice reaction to Taiji. And just to clarify, Seo Taiji is not considered K-Pop. He did help indirectly influence it to become the SK idol industry it is today, as you had alluded to. And because of that, he is sometimes considered the "Father of KPop", although other sources consider Lee Soo-man as the father. And you could tell from just this song alone that he uses electric guitars. That's because he is firstly a rock & metal musician, since the mid 1980's. His band Taiji & Boys is thus not pure hiphop but rather hiphop-rock. You will notice this in other of his songs. But his Boys band only lasted 4 years, up to 1996. He returned a few years later as a lone artist (with a different band) & started performing as a Numetal group around 2000. Anyway, there is a huge possibility that the KPop scene we all know today probably would not exist the way it did & start if it wasn't for Taiji. That means pretty much all the hundreds of acts out there, such as BTS, Ateez, Blackpink, Dreamcatcher, g.o.d., etc, may not have existed if it wasn't for him. He has done other music styles/genres, so that includes symphonic & EDM mixes of his songs. Afaik, his last full concert was Time Traveler, in 2017, featuring BTS. He has not done much after that, with the recent pandemic probably affecting those decisions later on, although age is also a factor, since he his nearing 51. Hopefully you will react to more of Taiji, (including his Numetal songs from 2 decades ago), e.g. Ultramania, Internet War, Feel the Soul, T'ik T'ak, etc.
