Hello my friends, I'm Nathan, Seoul Walker 🚶🏻🤓
Today, let's walk on the night of Seoul, where heavy snow fell last Wednesday night. We start at a restaurant near Anguk Station in Seoul and go to Jongno-gu district via Anguk Station, Bukchon Hanok Village, Samcheong-dong and Gyeongbokgung Palace.
A massive snow storm on Wednesday night brought chaos to roads and highways across Seoul,... leaving numerous cars stranded and abandoned overnight on icy streets.
On top of that,.. the sub-freezing temperatures have caused the ice to take hold, making this morning's commute even more difficult.
The heavy snow that fell across large parts of South Korea on Wednesday night sparked chaotic scenes on the nation's roads and caused traffic gridlock.
This included millions of people heading home from work in Seoul.
Among the hardest-hit areas,... many drivers in southern Seoul were forced to abandon their cars overnight,... as they were unable to move due to the slippery conditions.
Others cars crawled through the streets,... some barely moving for hours.
Citizens and police officers were seen pushing cars,... even buses.
However,... due to temperatures dropping to as low as minus-17 degrees Celsius,... roads are frozen,... which could cause problems for those headed to work on Thursday morning.

S. Korea was very poor so be understanding what your parents had to give up for an adoption. Probably did it for best for you. Probably they want you to have a chance to have a better life which they couldn't give to you back then. I remember many kids didn't have just rice to bring for a lunch. After Japan invade colonized they took everything they can use out of then after became independent, Korean war broke out. Many Korean people suffered and so much sacrificed so much. There're so much traumatic stories to most Korean. Most important you are safe, and healthy, be thankful. One day hope you can visit learn about Korean history and tasting delicious Korean food. Peace and take care of yourself.

I'm a London guy who watches a huge amount of Korean serials on N'Fix (about 500 hours, so far) and this video is amazing. Some of the shows move so fast and you get just snatches of the locations but this is a great way to take in Seoul for real. Thank you for taking a long walk in the atmospheric conditions of a light snowfall and sharing with us. As for the jerk who thinks its pathetic and boring - he needs to try some other kind of chill pill if this is not doing it for him.

@@Alex_Gordon Yes, Romania has harsh winters, i.e. snow, ice and temperatures which go between 2 deg. Celsius to minus 20 no problem. Well, it has all 4 seasons of the year like we imagine them.

아무렇지않은 일상이라도 언제그랬냐는듯 어느새 사라지고 달라져서 나중에 왜 남겨두지 않았을까 하는 후회가 되더군요. 어린시절의 일기장이 나중에 소중한 보물이 되듯 계절마다 곳곳의 현재를 담아내는것이 그것이 아름답든 그렇지 않듯 그자체로 소중한것같네요. 영상은 참 아름답네요.

Superb. The whole walk took me about a week's worth of installments to complete. Like a good book. Thank you Seoul Walker for re-awakening treasured old memories of solitary walks in Inchon, Busan and Ulsan in the mid 1980's, where I acquired a lifelong love and respect for the Korean aesthetic. Now that I have finished this video, I wish only for the return journey, away from the noise, bustle and harsh angularity of the inner city, back toward the tranquil, silent beauty of the old town.
