A lot better us are common working people that live 20-40 miles from these big condos. We didn't get help rebuilding, insurance companies didn't want to pay and we are still rebuilding out of our own pockets. Please think and research before you post. I'm STILL struggling like many others!

@@Dan-q6v1v Katrina came from the Atlantic and not the Caribbean… it was heading West when it entered the Gulf after moving through the Bahamas . Hurricane Camille in August of 1969 entered the Gulf from this area of the Caribbean. It was stronger than Katrina. When Camille entered the Gulf on Friday August 15, 1969, it was a Category 1 - … 36 hours later on Sunday August 17, it was 180 mph

when i was a kid they had spoken about sending (something) into these storms to weaken or direct them and it seemed like we were doing things to calm these down- I don't remember what they were specific about lasers- or something that could slow down the forming of these monsters- It has been a very long time since I heard anything about that. You would think with the tech we have now there would be ways to control these.

The reason everyones missing with their computer models for posible outcomes is that I am the one controlling the atmosphere. That's the reason the AI and all models have failed. I’m so tired of seeing these updates on this system because no one knows where this is will be going. They are all spewing trash and guesses…. The route of this tropical wave has changed everyday almost hourly. I appreciate the heads up but please stop trying to predict a landfall on a system that hasn’t even formed. Everyone that lives near or on the gulf needs to be prepared for a potential storm and when it finally forms then we can start predicting where it’s going.

If you flip a coin 100 times and heads comes up 99 times and tails comes up 1 time, on the 101 flip the odds of heads or tails are both 50%. History has no bearing on the odds. . You don’t know how the atmosphere will be in 7 days that could change the direction of a storm or even if a storm will develop.
