Separation differences vertical/horizontal

The Jo Gunn hillbilly antenna has both vertical and horizontal capabilities and most of the time you can see the difference between the vertical and horizontal side. It’s a Omni directional antenna that takes two coax cables. So far it’s been a great antenna!

Wonder what kind of 1.5 bandwidth you get. My 827 gets 2 megs. I'll take a look at that hillbilly on their website.

Took a look at their website. Sort of basic. Actually they are pretty close to me. I hear the new owner on ground wave. I dont realy see how horizontal works. Maybe i can download a instruction sheet.

@@miker8379give jo Gunn a call and they can explain how that antenna works. Tony told me the horizontal part is like a big doughnut. Other words a circle type pattern. I know it works very well for me.
