I wasn’t sure how Sam would play as Nott after the transformation, but I feel like this was a very mature route. Her emotional arc has come to a very satisfying peak and for Sam to call curtains on her as a character for the time being feels appropriate. She’s one of my favorites, but I feel like this was a well justified choice. And he did it all dressed as a leprechaun, too. The Sam Riegel-ness of it all.

The intro has already been updated. Twice, actually. In the newest one, when Nott runs down the alley, you can see Veth's face in the water for a brief moment. The ending where Matt has the book of characters also changes

The first few times you watch Sam play a character, you can be forgiven for thinking that he's just the stereotypical comic relief character... but he plays funny characters correctly. He uses that comedy as contrast to leverage some of the most wholesome and tearjerking moments in any campaign. Here's to the appreciation of Sam Riegel.

Other than that, she's more like his own mother (from what I've seen of her), with smatterings of mom stereotypes and subversions for the lolz.

Caleb is so much a better person than he gives himself credit for. He saved this family and gave Veth a new lease on life after trauma took that life from her. The mighty nein may not be traditional heroes but what they did for Veth was heroic

Goblin years are different so she was an adult. She’s not a child. Goblins are adults around 4 I think. Idk how far in the show you are since you’re asking this so spoilers: Nott is actually a halfling named Veth and shes 25 and married to Yeza. She kissed Caleb one time but that doesn’t mean they’re in a relationship. She did have a crush on him way in the beginning but that passed. Their whole relationship is platonic.

Hate: cus every once in a while we get CR fans that wants an experience like this and come ruin games not only for them but other players, trying to lead the DM in to "Dramatic RP", some time the DM just kills them on the fist battle.

Well, some players like the rp aspect of d&d more than the fights. It's about finding players/dms that are into the same as you.

Fairly new to actually playing, and I have found I enjoy the RP more than the combat in most situations. The battles are only really interesting when, say, we are pushed, but able to surpass. example, my party and I were in a witch’s hut, and the rogue touched something despite the wizard saying DONT. It activated a trap of a cauldron that could TPK us. We dented it a bit, but it kept eating the rogue, the Barbarian (who has 1 shot several encounters at this point, despite being level 1), and myself. I’m almost down at this point. But we all started to run, and the barb was eaten again. I froze up, and the wizard went and tried to help. I ended up snapping out of my stupor, AND GRAPPLED THE CAULDRON. This allowed the Barb to escape and help with the grapple. Then, I, with help, managed to flip the cauldron over in a pin to keep from it eatting anyone else. Managed to tie it up helpless, and the Barbarian was able to smash it (auto crit) so we could get what we came for. That was one of the combat encounters I actually enjoyed because I was actually able to do something, to help! But, I still enjoy the RP factor as well, and I’m glad my GM enjoys a good RP as well (even with innuendo jokes), and I’ve actually been invited to join an All Star RP gang for a new game. I’m honestly flattered because I’m the only new player in that group, while all the others have been in previous games the GM has ran (some of which have exploded for some reason, like a wish spell, others just with poor scheduling).
