And Beau tends to take a bit of a motherly role, but a young mom who is trying to still be cool. Someone kind of thrust into a leadership role by default, rather than growing into it.

I think Marisha probably would have been happy to be a super-spy with a slightly crazed look on her face, but then the rest of the party focused on Essek. That was clearly where the metaphorical main course of the plot stuff was, which meant she and Travis were suddenly the B-Plot, so she seamlessly pivoted into being the comic relief for the rest of the scene, and it was glorious!

However, Marisha said on Talks that Talisien was kinda unhappy how the usually very inquisitive Beauregard "utilized" those two buff spells, True Seeing in particular, being a 6th level Spell.

I was turned on to Critical Role about a year ago, and i've caught up entirely from episode 1 to current on campaign 2 - and there is great character chemistry between each of these people. One of the best 15 minutes from Critical Role. A self-contained comedy act, no greater context or familiarity with the characters or setting needed. Travis and Marisha are so fantastic here, just full on comedy theater!

I usually listen to these on my ride to/from work and then watch these later. Travis busting into dance was the best thing. Ever.
