Hi Caroline Some great colours to move into spring with ( should we ever get that season this year ) 😒😒. My hairdresser told me a good way to rejuvenate and replenish your hair is to once a month use a good clarifying shampoo particularly if you use products to enhance volume etc. A fab one i have found and love is from amazon called, HG Gold Caviar shampoo. It smells amazing and makes my hair feel super clean when i have used it and then find my hair responding better to my styling products 😁😁

Was told many years ago by my hairdresser that you should alternate your hair care products because your hair does get used to a particular product. Keep your favourite but use an alternate a few times and then return to the favourite. It works for me.

Sephora is originally french. It was founded in 1969 in Limoges.

We had in uk sephora in late 90s earlier 2000s. In 2000 watford North West London my local, I got glitter lipstick and polish..just terrible. Plus it was heavy guarded by security, u couldn't test without someone over looking u!! Terrible everything. Glad it's back xx

Lovely little haul, Caroline. Love the ELF putty products. I have the primer which does an excellent job of masking the pores on my nose and chin. That eyeshadow palette looks lovely but I just can't bring myself to pay that kind of money. I do have a couple of palettes which are seen as good dupes for the Glam and I Need A Nude palettes though, a brand called Lamora (sold on Amazon and much, much cheaper). A lady in America who I follow used the Glam palette dupe in a GRWM and absolutely raved about it so I decided to purchase that one. I loved it so much I now have 4 of their palettes, the nude one being the newest.

Oh that's really interesting, I may well give them a go. MUA and Revolution are my usual budget friendly go to brands for eyeshdadow, but I haven't been impressed with Revolution's quality the last couple of years as far as eyeshadow goes, so I could do with a replacement. Putty Primer is also on my wishlist, good to know it works well for you, Iris.

@@CarolineMrsM At under £10 for a 12 shade palette, they fit in with the budget price point but the quality is so much better than Revolution. Would be interesting to see what you make of them if you do purchase any.

You're so bright and cheerful today, Caroline! I love the Elf putty range, I have the same bronzer and almost all the blushes and I love how they blend out and are never tacky. I adore Natasha Denona eye shadows, but the price for a full pallet is very dear, so I buy the mini's as well. The Elf bite sized quad eye shadows are also really nice, and very affordable.

That Natasha Denona palette has been my go to since ordering it on offer with a subscription box. Absolutely gorgeous! My eyes are blue, but those shades flatter everyone. I hope you enjoy your palette! Xx Patty

Sephora is a French company. It used to be in the UK until Brexit, when it left, and is now re-opening in many locations. Interested to see how you like the Natasha Denona palette - I bought that one, but returned it as there was so much fall out, and I found the colors just too warm for me. You got some good things !

Sephora is opening on the 16th May in the Trafford Centre in Manchester for anyone interested. As an X hairdresser I can say yes your right your hair and skin both get used to using the same things. I have a few different products on the go and do 2 months turn around. X

Went into Sephora at Westfield London to see if the things I had heard about it were true. Yes it was full of young kids buying expensive make up. ( yes it was school hols) Just goes to show how kids these days are influenced by expensive brands and looks. The only Sephoras I have been in before were in Spain. They certainly have an excellent range of cosmetics but I shall avoid school holidays in future!

Mac mineralise bronzer is lovely nice and light not powder.

Hi, the one I got is definitely a powder, description on Mac website confirms, but they have some super dark shades which could definitely be used as a bronzer on pale complexions.
