Alexandria- my daughter and I got a cheap $10 beauty advent calendar at dollar general and we were prepared to roast it. It was better than Sephora. Maybe next year you could try more store advent calendars (in addition to target)?

I feel like a lot of these subscription boxes and advent calendars rely soo heavily on how over priced skin care is in order to push up their “value” instead of providing actually good, valuable products. Love your videos❤

11:46 IMPORTANT: Excedrin migraine and Tylenol both contain acetaminophen. Taking two Tylenol with one excedrin definitely goes above the recommended dosage for acetaminophen which can be quite dangerous both for your immediate and long term health. Excedrin migraine has a recommended dosage of 2 tablets so I suggest just trying two of those without anything else. A cup of coffee or something else with caffeine could help boost the Excedrin’s effects

Not that liver health isn't important, but the recommended daily dose of acetaminophen is stated not to exceed 3 grams a day. Which is 3000 milligrams. She safely did not exceed that amount. Two Tylenol is 650 and 1 excedrin is only 250 mg. So I feel we just need to make sure we are putting the correct information out there. Tylenol is not a bad product while using it appropriately, and safely.

@@carrieneff48 you are talking about a recommended daily dose and I am talking about the recommended dose for how much to take at once. The absolute max dosage any adult should take at once is 1000mg. If she is taking regular strength Tylenol and an excedrin migraine, that is 950mg. If she is taking extra strength Tylenol and an excedrin migraine, that is 1250mg. Even if she is taking the former, such a high dose can still cause damage over time. Also, taking two excedrin instead means she’s getting more aspirin and caffeine which tend to work a little better than mostly Tylenol on migraines in particular. I say this as someone who has had severe chronic migraines since I was a teenager and has had three neurologists in that time. Regardless of all of this, I am not spreading misinformation by explaining the dosing instructions given by the FDA, health agencies in other countries, and doctors.

Sephora in France 🇫🇷 is really good. My Mum and I go in every year when we go to France as a family shopping before Christmas. My Dad goes and has a nice French beer while he waits for us! 😊 That perfume being empty was really weird… and it was a shame the stone was broken… 😞 Overall I think these were both pretty good.

I use the tiny beauty blender for eyeshadow primer and concealing/setting under my eyes. The perfume brand you got on day 4 of the US calendar is EXTREMELY expensive! They made a 7 day advent calendar for the days between Christmas and New Years that costs $1000 😱🤗

I also bought the US Sephora Favorites Advent Calendar. Personally, I was very happy with it, except the day with the tiny beauty blender. Between the fragrances and the handful of full size products, I felt the value was there.

I feel like the person who sold it to her used it and put it back in the box since they are just boxes not perforated or fully secured in anyway. Poor girl I would be seriously p.o.’d over that one. Probably used a syringe and sucked it dry and put it in their own bottle. I know I try and find the small bottles of Tom ford lost cherry, the cute little ones that are actually like 7 ml,I want to say, those are actually big enough to refill the purse spray bottles

Lol, in 2012, I became so obsessed with Tom Ford's "Violet Blonde" (I think that was the scent name) that I accepted a new 3oz bottle as partial payment for my nanny services. Good thing I did, my "employer" overspent so later on, I'd find my check was worth as much as the paper it was printed on, lolol. So, aside from the cool kiddos, I was at least paid for 3 weeks of my time and a near concussion, with a perfume I wanted value at $130.

If the perfume was full and the other thing wasn’t broken, then I’m going with the EU calendar. But even with the issues, the EU one is overall better than the US version. I mean Day 3 for the US calendar was a micro beauty blender so everything beats that 😂

The moment I saw the title, I ran and made myself some popcorn because I knew we were all in for some of the best Alexandria facial expressions and responses of the entire advent/after advent season and I am so glad I did because I was right. I love the little sponges. I use them to blend out my concealer and shadow base. I get them at Walmart. Very good and useful to me. Emily Noel taught me about them!

For a Sephora advent calendar, this was fantastic! The empty perfume and broken stone sucked, but they’re also things you could’ve had replaced if you’d been able to buy it directly from Sephora and not a third party seller. For $99, I don’t think I would’ve been too disappointed but I don’t really think either were worth more than that. Side note: I received a Byoma serum in either my fall or summer FabFitFun box (possibly that exact one because it did look very familiar), so maybe that’s where you recognized it from?

so the anastasia product, there could be more in there than you think. i have this eyeliner pencil that i thought was running out, but it wasnt. it will only produce a certain amount of the eyeliner at one time to minimize breakage, which is actually very smart. hopefully thats the case with anastasia!

Hey pro tip from a nail polish loving girl who just learned this a few months ago. Use quick dry top coat on top of your manicure because it dries the layers underneath and quick! Finally have no dings in my polish lol

13:00 the body lotion: gold bond has an amazing body lotion with retinol, urea and lactic acid. It's Gold Bond Age Renew Retinol Overnight Body & Face lotion..13oz for $16. I also have KP or "chicken skin" and this makes my skin so smooth and soft. It was a recommendation from Dr. Dray here on KZbin. I have repurchased that lotion 5+ times Walmart online is telling me

Loved this video! When it comes to those perfume minis, it’s easier to flip them upside down with the lid still on so the perfume fills up the little hole on the lid, and then tap the lid on your wrists for a less messy application ☺️

I also always get the Awe Inspired jewelry calendar which you do not review and this year I got the Body Shop calendar which I loved and will try to get again next year. If you want to get rid of your KP (chicken skin) do two things, get you some CeraVe SA lotion and apply after you get out of the shower and start either drinking orange or grapefruit juice each day or taking a vitamin C supplement. Keratosis Pilaris is caused by a lack of vitamin C. It cleared mine up completely and since I make sure to either eat or drink citrus fruits each day it has not returned
