Hey Kackie! Yes lactic acid at low levels acts like a carrier to get the actives/moisturizers into the skin. This is something that I’ve done when creating moisturizers/serums, and I did it here to keep lips moisturized! That’s why The Adults Are Talking has a subline that says Solid Serum Lip Repair. And yes! We are working on more shades of Face Flex! We’re a self-funded start up so it’s hard to create and buy a huge range and that inventory out of the gate! Thanks for your thoughtful review!

This is a good one. I'm giving away my Hourglass pots but I looooooove the Rituel de Fille Eye Soot in Half Light. It's my holy grail. It even works for a bronzer/contour! Such a strange mix of warm and cool, shimmery and not. I just haven't had ANY luck with their other colors! Maybe I'm not applying them correctly. I LOVE the idea of a one and done, but so far I've only found ONE that works. HELP!

A few things: 1. You are stunning. Your technique inspires me to try and use eye makeup more frequently. I happen to really like this look. 2. I just bought/used the Lisa Eldridge Skin Tint (Shade 15) and the Eadem Lip Balm in Butter Mochi and I can’t even cope with how obsessed I am with these products. 3. I LOVE the new Patrick Ta Foundation. My skin is Normal-to Oily nose. I use the Danessa Myricks serum to mattify my skin nose and I am good to go. I use all of a pump on my face. 😝 4. You’re the best and I want to be just like you when I grow up. 😂 (I just turned 37. Proud Libra here. ❤)

Please do a video on lip balm, glosses, and other hydrating lip products that will make you look fab but not dry! I have dry lips on their own but add winter and it’s over. I also have sensitivity to fragrances. However I found YSL doesn’t break me out vs Summer Fridays.

I know this is maybe a silly suggestion, but I have incredibly dry skin and I actually began following you because I am an artist and I got lucky in finding you as a skin resource bc same pigments tones/etc. I find sunbum 30 spf is the best cheap product I’ve found for staying hydrated and protected.

Hi - I have a request please for the next "this or that"- would you be able to compare the Rituel de Fille 3 Drop Serum Foundation with the Surratt Dew Drop Foundation? I like the idea of a thin 'serum' type foundation. I use the NARS Light Reflecting foundation, which I love the coverage and finish, but I just can't get a shade that doesn't turn yellow on my fair cool skin! Thank you 😊

As someone who moved from a below sea level super humid city to the high desert and realized all of my powder looked terrible in that dry air, the Laura Mercier powder is a lifesaver. If you are a Colorado, Utah, or Northern New Mexico girl with dry skin, you have to try it!

At small amounts, lactic acid is hydrating. I haven't heard it helps with absorption but maybe it does that too. Now i wanna try that lip balm hahha 😅 i agree with others saying your eyes look wonderful! Finding it so difficult to decide what to get in the sale so thank youu! The Sarah Creale concealer also makes a nice foundation for mature skin. You only need a small amount, blends really nicely and takes powder well. 😊

I saw another video of Kackie’s and she seemed to like it. I think she has said she has dry skin, my skin is normal and I had to return the LYS foundation stick. I have normal skin and it slipped and transferred everywhere. No matter what I did. I got it based on her recommendation, so while it didn’t work for me, I think it could be worth a try!
