This is the Sept. 4 Kentucky Chemical Demilitarization Citizens’ Advisory Commission (CAC) and Chemical Destruction Community Advisory Board (CDCAB) in-person and online meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the closure of the Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (BGCAPP), which destroyed the chemical weapons stockpile at the Blue Grass Army Depot in Kentucky in 2023. • At approximately 15:13, Tamika Atkins, acting program executive officer, PEO ACWA, provides remarks and introduces Troy Workman, deputy program executive officer, PEO ACWA.
• At approximately 17:57, Shannon Pendergrass, site project manager, Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (BGCAPP), and Curcio provide a BGCAPP update including safety metrics, containerized rocket warhead destruction progress, updates on the Static Detonation Chamber (SDC) 2000 and SDC 1200, main plant closure progress and BPBG workforce transition.

• At approximately 31:28, Rosalind Torrence, human resources manager, BPBG, answers questions about workforce transition resources.
• At approximately 35:15, Pendergrass provides an update on the projected schedule.
• At approximately 37:10, Williams asks Curcio and Torrence about workforce transitions to local Madison County jobs. Torrence answers the questions.
• At approximately 41:18, David Stipes, CAC member, remarks on employee transition efforts.
• At approximately 43:18, Williams asks Pendergrass and Curcio about demolition and equipment disposition plans.
• At approximately 44:38, Steven Bullard, Kentucky Commission on Military Affairs, Office of the Governor, remarks on economic development efforts.
