SEPTA Market-Frankford El Flashback Series 1997-1999: Part 4

This is Part 4 of 7 in a series of videos shot on SEPTA's Market-Frankford Line between 1997 and 1999. Featuring the Budd "Almond Joy" M3 cars, these videos take place from a few months before the first revenue run of the prototype Adtranz M4 set in 1997 and runs through to 1999 when both types of equipment were still mixed on the line a few months before enough M4's were on hand to permit withdrawal of the last Budd set.
Part 4 features runby scenes at 15th Street.

If the M-3s had PA systems. 2:33 First M-3: This is a Frankford Bound B skip-stop train. The next stop is 13th Street. Step in and watch the doors. 4:52 Second M-3: This is a Frankford Bound A skip-stop train. The next stop is 13th Street. Step in and watch the doors. 5:47 Third M-3: This is a Frankford Bound A skip-stop train. The next stop is 13th Street. Step in and watch the doors. 6:20 Fourth M-3: This is a 69th Street bound A skip-stop train. The next stop is 30th Street. Step in and watch the doors. 7:51 Fifth M-3: This is a 69th Street Bound B skip-stop train. The next stop is 30th Street. 16:10 Sixth M-3: This is a 69th Street bound A skip-stop train. The next stop is 30th Street. Step in and watch the doors. 17:16 Seventh M-3: This is a Frankford Bound B skip-stop train. The next stop is 13th Street. Step in and watch the doors.

No, at least, not by me. The El footage was shot to show the transition between the old and new equipment over that time period. The BSL beat me to it by a good 15 years.... I was only 11/12 when the B-IV's came in.
