Glad you are feeling better. Loved what you said about being a mom and the realities of life. Most of the time I’m a pretty positive person but occasionally I just have to say this sucks and feel crappy for a bit so I can accept it and move on. I am so happy to hear another mama confirm that it is ok to do that every once in awhile.

Oof. That washi at 3:18. I'm having trouble understanding how it was even made and sold in the first place. Really hoping it was a mistake on your part and you didn't notice what it says. I do have to say that it combined with your praise of Jordan Peterson does have some rather negative implications that I hope are just coincidental. I'm glad you are in a better place, but do be careful with Jordan Peterson. He has quite a few harmful beliefs that aren't necessarily apparent on first engagement with his work.

Congratulations on another boy, we have three as well. I had some gender disappointment as well. I so desperately wanted a girl and while I had plenary of room in my heart for a boy I did have to take the time to grieve the loss of a chance for a girl. This boys is my last and he is the sweetest mamas boy of them all, my rainbow baby, he has so healed my heart. It is a taboo subject but I think it’s an important one and something that I experienced as well. 💕

Im new to your channel and really love it! Can you please please do some really basic beginner bujo videos? ( I have had. Scroll through and didn’t really find any on your channel) And about the gender disappointment. I experienced it with my second child, it is so freaking hard. From my gender scan and up to week 18 I did not want to believe that he was a boy at all, and cried so much after the gender scan. I LOVE my boy, and wouldn’t trade him for any girl, and now, 5 years later I still feel sad that I ever felt that way. It is such a taboo, because people can’t really understand it, and you keep blaming yourself for feeling those things. Lots of love your way ❤️

I was wondering if you could show us some of your trackers filled in so we can see HOW you use them (or mock ones if you don't wish to share). Like you, everything works for me - but I fancy switching things up from time to time SQUEEEEEE ANOTHER BOY!!!! Trust me; boys are SO much easier than girls - girls get bitchy when the hormones hit lol and boys are so much more loving. If you liked Jordan Peterson's concept of life being suffering, I HIGHLY recommend the book "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*" -- it talks about tough-love of how you need to care less to really get to a meaningful life. What he says makes a lot of sense, I still need to finish it but it's beneficial. Thanks for sharing Peterson's work! Going to listen in soon

For me, understanding that my sense of self worth a and purpose is completely independent of my husband, children, career, home, or anything else has been the most liberating and peace-inducing part of being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Even if all those things (God forbid) were stripped away, my purpose-yours, mine, all of ours-would still be there.

@@missmckennaslifeleverage6028 I probably have a twisted mind but I see some kind of weird synchronicity that happening on a video where you are so strongly supporting Jordan Peterson... I am very happy if listening to him makes you feel better but I also hope that you are treating what you take from him with care, cause he seems to me the kind of people who can every easily make others feel little and enjoy it. Anyway, take care and go on being happy ! It is important ! (and in my, not always so twisted, mind, even more important than feeling useful as per other people's standards :) )

about gender, please learn about transgender, intersex and non binary people, we exist and as a mom you should really learn about it and try to not categorize the things you do with your children (most of these are unconscious) please educate yourself on the subject it's really important for you and your children to learn about this so you can let them know you are open to the subject and that it's a normal thing and there's nothing wrong with it, please do, you might think you know about it too, when in reality you really don't, please educate yourself, it will help everyone!

@@Karina22222 Having followed her for a while I am sure it wasn't on purpose. Probably it just was in some package of some tapes. It only automatically caught my eye, myself being German...Also with the Jordan Peterson thingy, I can't imagine that was done on purpose either and that she stands for everything he is putting out there. That simply wouldn't fit the content and her positive and balanced demeanor in general. Just talking about my own experience, it has happened that I liked a few videos by someone only to later find out that their general view on important topics (to me) isn't mine at all. And at this point of course, everybody has to decide if they will still follow that guy or if it puts them off too much and they just unfollow. Internet times, crazy times;)

Yeah, it's about Hitler basically. Hope that wasn't intended. Also please be careful about Jordan Peterson... I also watched and listened to a lot of his stuff until I realized what he is about...

I admire your honesty in discussing how you feel about these issues and I wanted to make a few points that you may or may not care about but know theyre coming from a place of love. Firstly, in regards to your comments on not wanting to be political, thats okay if thats how you live but it's important sometimes to acknowledge that people of minority groups often are forced to be political for their own safety and wellbeing. For example, when we talk about transrights, its because trans people are getting murdered and unless there is a shift in the way we talk about and treat trans people, they are constantly experiencing anxiety about what could happen for them. Again, not saying you have to be that passionate about it but I wanted to mention it so you understand why others are so passionate about it when leaving comments. The other thing I wanted to mention is regarding gender and it's that the genitals of your baby do not at all determine their gender. Maybe one day your baby will grow up and come to you for help on painting their nails. Gender in general is becoming more fluid and the hard lines of masculinity and feminity are breaking down and the world is slowly becoming a more accepting space for that. And at the end of the day, I think for anyone, having a balance of masculinity and femininity is the best way to be (best of both worlds!) And if you do consider yourself to be quite feminine, then you can engage with your kids in a feminine way and help develop those aspects of their personalities. The reason men have such high suicide rates when compared to women is that they haven't been given an escape from the intense masculinity pressured on them so offering them your femininity will help them become the most emotionally well rounded they can be. And maybe the little boy will tell you that they want to be a little girl and you can support them through that. I know some of these topics are kinda hard when youve grown up being taught a certain way and I dont think that it means you arent an open person, its just a little trickier for you to get your head around some of the new wave sociology and ideologies.

I really, really liked the video and then subscribed. I had a weird feeling about the Jordan Peterson- references so I checked him out to refresh my memory. I know a lot of people listen to him and see him as a god, but I would urge you to be very careful. It's not the 1950' anymore, and you as a woman have a lot of rights and are equal to men. I would like to see more of your art, but i just got a really bad taste in my mouth now and am going to unsubscribe. More art with less propaganda would work better for me.

Please disregard the naysayers about Jordan Peterson. He has been, as you say, the wise parent that tens of thousands of young people have never had, and adults too. He has helped them sort through their negative experiences and feelings of self doubt and emerge from this self-examination with a sense of meaning and purpose about themselves and about life itself and their place in it. Take what you need from him and don't let others interfere with the channel of blessing and strength he can be to heal wounded spirits. There will always be those who criticize those who don't fit nicely into their way of thinking in every regard. There can be no more significant purpose in life than to be the shepherd or shepherdess of the hearts, minds, and souls of other little human beings, helping them to achieve all that they were created to be. That's what moms and dads really are...., and to find joy and meaning in our role as parents is a wonderful thing for both children and parents! I salute you, especially as I am a teacher, and over the years, I have had to help the children of those parents who did not see their parenting as an important responsibility and higher purpose. I have tried to help these children find ways to heal and find a better way in life for themselves than the path they were headed on. Getting our children off to their best start in life should be the goal of every parent, but sadly too often it is not. And your layouts were beautiful! So creative!
