Great video. What systemic pest control do you use?

Yes please let us know what you use.

My guess would be Bonide systemic granules. I find they work better if I reapply them every 2-3 months. However, I have read they don’t work as well on spider mites.

I used Hi Yield Insect granules. For some reason Bonide isn't able to be shipped in my apartment, but HiYield brand was so that's why I went with that one. Apparently the active ingredient is banned in New York State 🤷♀

Another great video! Thank-you. 😊 Following an orchid grower that has the same climate as I do, has been a complete game changer for me. I’m so grateful for you and your channel. ❤️

things haven't slowed down here but I don't expect them to for another month. Still like an oven outside and we're still getting rain (usually stops around the 15th). Now let's not talk about spider mites, Paula and I are dealing with the most pernicious strain ever. We're actually talking about spraying our plants with lice shampoo to see if it will kill them.

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that! My spider mite issues haven't been too bad this year like in the past, i think it's all the rinsing I do to the leaves. But I do have them persistent in my Aussie Dens. It's so annoying but tolerable given I've had thrips infestations in the past. Give me spidermites over thrips any day, but it's still most definitely stressful to deal with them repeatedly and they don't go away and create so much damage so fast. I hope they go away for you both!

Awww Zoe! Maybe when she gets older, she will stop bothering your plants. My little guy is so old, he doesn’t even look at my plants….

Her interests seem to change as she gets older. When she was a kitten she would chew on my power chords!!!! Then the corners of my table, now plants. One can argue she's made progress 😆

So nice!! I use Bonide systemic for my Hoyas and it works really good for those damn mealies. Fall is usually my fav time of year but damn!! All bugs are in full force and trying to get in my house and on my indoor plants! 😭

I look forward to seeing improvement! I have root mealies all of the place so I hope this does the trick. Mealies are so annoying on hoya. Never really with orchids but they love the hoyas haha. I hope you are able to keep the bugs away!

These are plants in horticulture and from nature or from the wild which one eazy for growth and care? I love all of plants ☘️.
@NicoleDeannaКүн бұрын
If they are from nature I call out "Species" in the label in the video. The Phalaenopsis Equestris can be found naturally like that in nature, the rest are manmade hybrids :)

Your orchid blooms are all beautiful. What is the name of the systemic granules that you use to kill the pests in your Hoyas? Thanks so much. 💛

Hi Yield Insect granules. I hear good things about Bonide as well :)
