September 26, 2021: "A Merciful and Faithful High Priest" (Hebrews

Our Lord's Day service for September 26, 2021. As we return to The Letter to the Hebrews, we come to the culmination of the argument of the second chapter. Christ had to come into the world, adding true and full humanity to His perfect divinity, in order that God's redemptive plan would be fulfilled. This is because Christ had to be both our perfect sacrifice and our merciful and faithful High Priest. That is what today's text instructs us; Christ had to become like us in order to fulfill the office of perfect High Priest. Join us today as we look at this amazing passage.
