By the looks of that remote you've got the 1st version. There's 2 other versions with tree newest having a tiny lcd screen on the remote and i believe that one has dual rate but i could be wrong. I have the version 2 in the k989 and 284010. Bigger! Cheaper looking remote but it has a beefier center shaft and the 284010 has a blue rally car body with leds. The only real difference between the k969 and the 2 i have is the locked diffs and plastic wheels on the k969. Tons of upgrades for those little cars. I would discourage you from converting to 2wd for drifting though. Even with an extended chassis (110mm wheelbase) it is very difficult to keep it from spinning out even with a premium gyro in 2wd. I regret chopping the center shaft to make both of mine rwd. Just enjoy power sliding tar little awd - it's a blast even with a cheap gyro. Or slap some rubber tires and you'll be amazed how fast those little cars are stock. Oh and you might wanna go in and lube the diffs if you don't want to wait for it to break in. I didn't like that body but they're fun little cars

@@bighextacy Hello and thank you for viewing the video, yes I believe I was sold the first version, from this company, the one that was ordering should’ve heard dual rate as well as the newer control, i’ve made a shaft to run it rear wheel drive, and the only way to hooks up is on drywall and 2 Wheel drive ! If you’re gonna buy parts for these little cars by the parts from WL toys ! I’ve run the car on tile wood composite floors, and my best results were with drywall !
