Like I thought Wind Archer threw a curveball into the meta and it's really hard to stay at elite 2, I want to share some advice. This is the Stormbringer situation all over again, the best counter to Wind Archer is Wind Archer. Since you can get him for free for the missions, I recommend getting him as soon as you can. I experimented with different substats on raspberries / even using the '1 second start' chocolate comp but I think raspberries with attack / attack spd / cooldown seems to be best for him. HOWEVER, if you have a 'meta comp' that is already built really good (DC WL MF Stormbringer / Financier/ CF etc) with good treasures, you stand a chance. The only cookie who seems to be a genuine counter for him otherwise is Stardust, who already is the counter for White Lily. He targets the cookie with highest attack. I just pulled him today finally so I am speedrunning building him. With that said, def cookies who prioritize highest attack (Financier!!!!! and maybe Elder Faerie) are still the best choice. I am trying and seeing mixed results with a triple healer comp with Dark Cacao, with MF, PV or Snapdragon and CF. Mystic's skill is not that good with Snapdragon but if your Dark Cacao is already doing insane damage, it's worth a try. I even tried Mint Choco (as a joke) to test his magic candy and surprisingly the wind + speed buff + excess heal for the lowest HP cookie is not that bad, makes me wonder if it's worth bringing it to 20 or 30... that would be an awesome comp (and with Rebel, probably insane) if it was viable lol, but I don't think I'll test it this season) There's VERY annoying teams going around right now with Wind Archer + DC + Moonlight and I think the advantage of those teams is that their Moonlight is WITHOUT her (bad) crystal jam. I don't really know how to counter Moonlight (Stardust??) yet, so watch out and don't get baited, maybe Star Coral's immunity to Sleep could help if she's built? Cream Ferret is the key. Get as much DMG resist subs / beascuit as you can for them for your team, and for the opponent team, make sure your damage dealers have some DMG resist Bypass (Would love to have Frost Queen 30+ Crystal Jam right now...) I think what makes Wind Archer such a killer is the fact his skill ignores DMG Resist AND has stacking DMG resist bypass. So for cookies that rely on DMG resist (literally all your tanks, wildberry is almost always instantly killed now bc the damage scales with HP!) it kind of sucks! I will experiment with Almonds on some of my cookies. Obviously past elite you need promotion + ascension + maxed treasures + high investment toppings/MC/Crystal Jam, which I don't really have yet but maybe some of you do. Good luck!
