I love Toradora partly because of the excellent expressions. But it is hard to find a figure that utilizes those amazing expressions, and it would also look a bit weird. I was looking at the bunny girl a bit, but didn't really feel like it was the figure for me regarding a Taiga. I hope she gets a good figure in the future that will click with me.

Rengoku was only sculpted by Toytec, but still manufactured by GSC. Chika was manufactured by Toytec.

OMG!! You do not know how happy I am seeing you pick up the zarashikiwarashi 1/7th and talk about her! This made my day. I literally thought I was the only one who got her. I love how the paint work and shading is done on her figure even in areas where they could have skimped and I wouldn’t be upset about they cared enough to shade. Similarly I want to do a Japanese/yukata/ yokai themed shelf and she is perfect for that. In general definitely looking forward to more of NetEase Games figures and am planning on picking up the otakemaru and Shokurei Konshinhonmi. Great video as always!! 💕💕😍

What an impressive haul!!! Also, I skimmed through the comments to try to see if anyone mentioned it already and didn't find anything, but the Rengoku Nendoroid is not manufactured by Toytec. Toytec is a sculptor for a lot of Nendoroids and it's not an issue when they sculpt, only when they're the manufacturer! Thought I'd clear that up!

Cannot wait for my Rengoku nendo. Alter Shinobu is really stunning, personally feel that it is the best among the other version of her. Having said that, unable to justify dropping big money on her since she is not my fav. Yeah Gon best boy ^^v hope GSC make another version of his nendo...

I've been browsing the Anime Figures subreddit and I noticed there was an uptick in badly damaged boxes and sometimes the contents of those boxes. I wonder what's been happening, it's terrifying... On a brighter note, I'm sold on that Shinobu! I would really love it if Alter released Mitsuri and Nezuko figures as well too, they do everything so beautifully.

I mean the entire worlds shipping infrastructure is backed up and fucked rn. might have something to do with it considering fedex has packages smashing into each other piling up on conveyor belts and cramming shit in trucks just to get it out

When you see complaints that places like Ami are overpacking figures and that inflates shipping costs, now you know why. Even this channel had one a bit ago where she complained that the box was bigger than needed (with like 4" of clearance around the box, full of packing material). That's not too much, it's barely enough to save a figure's box from what they go through in shipping.

@@ninjatango I live in the US and so surface parcel's been available to me, so shipping cost isn't the worst on my end. I only ordered EMS twice from Mandarake (which is no longer doing surface parcel I think) and was able to add smaller merch with a minimal increase in shipping cost, which I think is reasonable. At this point though I almost rather have paid for EMS for most of them if my packages have that high of a chance of getting damaged, even if the damage is just to the figure's box, since I like keeping them in decent condition too.

Gwyn, that package is fine. I had already received it so soaked and decayed that they had to wrap it in cellophane! Luckily, my holly grail figure Yae Sakura by Apex was wrapped in polyvinyl. She was not damaged either. Happiness in misfortune.

Maybe Taiga feels smaller for a 1/7 scale figure because she is TEENY TINY xD (I say that at the risk of being drop-kicked by Taiga herself lol). I got my gf the two figures of Taiga & Ami by Taito years ago and you really don't see too many figures for Toradora so it's nice to see that series get some love. And awesome to see you were able to grab a copy of HxH!! I also like Gon over Kilua even though they're a pair and both great characters. Gon is just so vibrant in the best way (:

I really do like your Shinobu figure but I remembered I ordered a Shiabu one from Magic cube. That said have you ever considered buying a resin statue Gwyn? I would totally recommend buying one. Magic cube has a good Demon slayer lineup and i think one of them would be perfect for your collection

I agree with you Alter is great but my Shinobu will be the Kotobukiya one due to her pose and the way the butterflies are on that one. BTW, thanks to your collab vid with Daijoububu/Animbae, I bit the bullet the couple of days ago and got an Alter Asuka with the jacket (red box) from Mandarake (they had three!). I think my EVA shelf will look a bit like yours when she arrives as I have the same sitting Rei and the UC Misato... imitation is the sincerest form of flattery? :) Looking forward to your next vid as always! ^^

Very nice purchases! I'm considering the Mikasa, Levi or Eren figures from that set, but it's not on the top of my wishlist. Rengoku is so cute! I personally want the Nezuko nendoroid, but I'm waiting to see how I like my Yuru Camp nendoroids first. (Nadeshiko and Rin. Nadeshiko is already on her way, hopefully she'll arrive soon.) I wanna start collecting the Jujutsu Kaisen nendoroids too, now that an Inumaki one has been announced.

YESSSSS! Rengoku nendoroid. 😭❤️ Honestly I preorder him before I got to see the movie in theaters and I’m very glad I did since I just fell in love with him after watching the movie. He’s just such an amazing character who just inspires others and just radiant positivity and confidence. In terms of scales there is the ARTFX J figure coming out in November, but more like getting it December because that when the invoice comes out. Also there’s the Bellfine one that was recently announced, but if feel like you’d have to buy the DX version of him for the full Rengoku experience let’s just say. 😂 But I feel it’s very overpriced and Bellfine can be meh. I’m looking to collect the rest of the Demon Slayer Nendoroids since I just love this series and I very excited for the rereleased of Zenitsu and Nezuko releases as well as the Shinobu Nendoroid!
