Love Backman and the world he’s created with Bear Town. The Winners wasn’t my favourite but love the series. The Diamond Eye is on my radar. 😊💙

I also really enjoyed the Diamond Eye…I personally appreciated the fact that Kate Quinn did not shy away from the reality of how awful war is.

I really need to read a Fredrick Backman. Where should I begin, Krista? I need to reread The One and Only Ivan, so I can read the rest of that series. The Shady Hollow series is on my wish list. I have the first Amari on my shelf. One day! 😂 Nice wrap up! 📚

Hi Krista! I WANT to read the Diamond Eye by Kate Quinn. Still reading Jane Eyre (Re-read) and loving it. Also reading some Poe,A Cozy Mystery AND doing the book by Spurgeon "Honest Faith" with your friend Chrissy (Christy?), Tiffany and Novel Idea. That probably sounds like very little to you, but for me it's alot. Still in P.T. twice weekly w/ daily exercises to do twice a day, long list😐 Plus I only get about 3/4 hrs. sleep every night due to chronic pain. Most days don't get up til 8am.. Blah, blah, blah. It REALLY aggravates me because there are SO MANY good books to read; and I don't even have a social life!!😋 I admire all you do and STILL have/ find time to read!🤗

September became a flop on reading after the loss the family dealt with. Still going through and over things. I've not read much since Ketchupathon. Most have been Netgalley books on my kindle, and usually during lunchtime at work. I've read a couple so far this month, so I'm picking back up.

I’m so surprised at how you like the books where there are animals. I’ve never cared for animal characters or narrators, but I read The Eyes and the Impossible on your recommendation and it was lovely. So… Also wanted to say thank you for the Pango box. It’s always fun to get new books!! 📚

Unpopular opinion: I like Bear Town a lot, and I love Frederick bachman, but I hated us against you and the winners. They both seem so slow and predictable and they introduced certain characters just to do certain things to them and I couldn't care the way they wanted you to. But most of all bang bang bang bang
