I love a reset! I've got budgeting videos from a UK perspective. Junior pensions are a thing in the UK, they are called Junior SIPP's (self-invested personal pension) so you could do that for your boys :)

Love this! It's helping me pack! I so strongly believe in the law of attraction. My family jokes I have powers for jobs - every time I've described the ideal hours and role, that exact opportunity has come up within 2 weeks. Apparently I also have the knack for houses 😂 3 weeks ago yesterday I set the intention to find a 2 bedroom house to rent for under £1000 PCM. There's nothing in our town for that price, nothing. Not even 2 bed flats are that price! Well I registered with all the estate agents and later that day got a call that a viewing had opened up for the only house on the market at that price. We got it! And we're moving in on Friday.

I work in finance, yes you can contribute to a pension for your children in the uk from birth. It is capped at around 3,600 ish due to them not having any pensionable earnings. JISAs you are able to contribute £9k per annum per child until they are 16- then they have 29k for 2 years until they are 18, then they have £20k from then on at 18.

I always feel really overwhelmed the 1st week kids go back to school as so much to sort after the summer holidays . My youngest is having a huge clear out and I’m selling all his unwanted toys . He’s desperate for a ps5 so i said if he saves £200 I’ll put the rest of it for his Christmas , he made £67 yesterday and still loads more to sell. I think this teaches him that you can’t get everything you want when you ask x
