volume way too low....how would one cut to put a clean out in an already installed septic line to septic tank?? ( I know I have to dig out to where pipe is connected close to tank..but..how would I measure to know how much to cut fitting...and what tool will I need to use?? Thanks

Can a short 3" tee clean out be used in place of the long pipe and the type clean out fitting you used??

Why don't u dig it downhill more and slope it to the tank ..

I allways put a 90 degree elbow on the end inside the tank. In case it fills and you don't notice it won't come back up the line. That's me though. I never had anything to get stuck in it there. It's usually at the first turn under the toilet. Had one to slow up on me once. It was because I had a know it all sister n law keep dumping cooking and bacon grease down it. The flow pressure look perfect coming out at the tank. Funny how a lot of people don't realize if ya got a house full of kids you become a septic guy pretty fast unless ya got 500$ every time they stuff it full. Worked on one last fall. They didn't run a vent pipe up a wall and through the roof. They put a T in the line and put 90s turning it torwed the floor. Home owner couldn't figure out why the basement filled with sewage water every time it got clog. All the fumes was coming out in the basement. It was also getting fume from the city line because it sit 5ft higher. I told him to chase the guy down that did it and tell him thanks for poisoning my famly. He said my son n law did it 12 years ago.

Eric West - That’s not a bad idea Eric. Next time I go back in Ill glue one on. All you got to know to be a plumber is crap runs down hill and pay day is on Friday! Lol THanks buddy.

@@tacocaza yep and the problems usually are caused by a broke ass. Look like yours had an incline to the house. If the tank sets 30 inches below the house or more I wouldnt worry about it. Take a lot to push the water up hill 30 inches.

Sucks when you have to fix other people's Bs.if it were me I would of dug more toward the house and have a straight slope to the tank with a clean out . Use 4 inch so it will never clog
