Loved the video Dominic, I do say for us zipties work great. We specifically use the UV rated zipties and we have had never had the zipties rot on us, we like using zipties because we have gone to customers where another guy did work on their pumps and they used electrical tape and what will happen is over time it will fall and get sucked by pump and the tape will clog the pump.

I have an issue with the OSSF Directors getting approved by the Galveston city Council, none of these OSSF directors are requiring 'comprehensive drainage plans'. The worse installs are in the floodplain where the lands usually have 0 inches of soil above the water table so they require arrows on the site plan to show surface water flow to comply with NFIP(required food damage insurance). With the 2018-2019 LIDAR there is no excuse for ignoring drainage. Literally 100% fail rate here in surrounded counties using these useless directors. The FEMA Audit guy must not be trained b/c he has done nothing I'm aware of.

Isn't that thing missing a float? No redundant off float? I guess it isn't needed but it does allow the on/off to bypass the timer if the system needs to dump some water.

That box is so floppy, I'd be concerned is knock it over by accident!
